Welcome to our thread... and I see we both almost started same time, our files received by New Delhi same day, and I'm still waiting for my wife to receive the PPR, and seem like you are also waiting for the PPR.

I hope this week is our week, and we receive our PPR this week.......

The trend these days here is usually ppl get the visa within 3 months in ND and a delay is a bit rare on this forum in 2011.

Is it just me, or because I wasn't active during this weekend, I did not see any update from New Delhi for this weekend, usually Saturday morning its very busy, and if I don't check this thread, then I would end up reading about 10 pages of this thread, but looks like we only completed about 3-4 pages for this weekend!!!

Maybe a sign on BATCH APPROVAL of VISA for this week!!!!

I hope a lot of us who are waiting for the good news, we hear them this week!!!!!

Thanks fprince for the info, File# is better than nothing, that atleast gives us a bit of piece of mind where they've seen your file, and assigned the File#, and at least you can see the address or name of your applicant

From what I can make out with your reply is that I should wait until June 5th before I inquire anything, Also I really hope I don't have to wait until June 5th to hear something from them, I really want my wife to be here for Canada Day, I want her to see the fireworks at wonderland!!!!

Come on ND... its time for PPR, then a speedy approval... = VISA!!!!! make my day!!!

I went through what you are going through...i will refresh what i did
first CSE - After 3 months in ND, got a generic reply with File #
second CSE - After 4 months in ND, got a reply in 20 days to send her PP.

In your case, i would wait for at least 2 months in Delhi before you send a CSE..
Most of the times they do not reply to a CSE Unless it passe their standard wait time..this is what the website says

Your application has exceeded normal processing times. We will not respond to your enquiry if the application is within normal processing times

You will need to be more patient for now..i know its hard, but it can come anytime..and it will.

And yes, CSE has to be sent by the applicant, not sure if they track any IP address..You can try and might get a reply..nothing is set in stone
In your case you will be doing the same thing i did in the first CSE, ask for your wife's File # and PPR status....
they wont reply to you but to the applicant..has to come from her..if she does not know english you can say in the email that u typed it for her and sent on her behalf..and the reply WILL have to go to her email addy.

Yes buddy, you can ask me..but my case is very rare and 1 in 3-5 2010 applicants...who had more than 6 months in ND..and so will I
we were just unlucky and had to wait for months and finally a CSE was answered that is it...i don know if the end result is good or bad..but i was asked to send the PP
ppr - i waited for 4 months and sent my 2nd CSE and they asked me to send the PP...

In your case, you have just begun..so stay calm and enjoy your outcome....
