This is a good sign, I have a good feeling your PPR is in the mail, you should have in few days!!! send the passport as soon as you get the PPR, and after they receive your PPR, I have a good feeling they will stamp it with the VISA in about 2 weeks... you are looking to have your passport with the VISA by end of May from what I can see!

Here is my timeline..hope it will be helpful

Medicals Done : Dec 2010
Application filed : Feb 8 2011
Received in Mississauga : Feb 10 2011
E-cas was not accessible till March 7 2011
E-Cas changed on 8 March 2011 to decision made (Sponsorship)
21 March 2011 filed received at New Delhi
8 April 2011 PPR letter received(Date on the letter was March 28 2011)
Passport sent on 10 April & was received on 12 April
E-Cas on applicants side changed on 21 April 2011 with address and medical received
27 April Address disappeared in E-cas and re-appeared on 29 April with address,medical received and decision made
Received passport with visa on 3 May 2011.

June 16 is what I'm thinking too, and I really hope ND wrap up my case by June 16th! it would really make me very HAPPY!! I just can't wait to goto India to bring my wife, I have a good feeling the OCI whcih I've applied for will be finalized by end of May.

You've gotten a good deal on the tickets with Jet Airways, did you buy it through an agent or online?

I did prepare three set of BOOKS................. email proofs......one before engagement..............after engagement.................after marriage............Nicely indexed..........


4 sets of envelopes ............engagement, marriage, honey moon,receiption.

and many other things............................

My application was very simple....no email or phone proofs or bills

I sent only around 10-12 photographs....marriage certificate copy and one page story about our arranged marriage from starting point to marriage ceremony.....no reception....no honeymoon....thats all.

I can not conclude what ND looks in an application or a case.
