I am new to this forum. My application was received by New Delhi on 22nd March 2011. I haven't heard from them since.

Do you see her address in ecas now? it has been removed for my file..i hope this will do something to the file..

In our case also the applicant's address is disappeared since it shows "Decision Made"

I also think this is the sign that they have done something with your file.....

Got an ECAS update!! Application was received by New Delhi on 18th April

Maybe this questions has not been answered... or it may have been... just going through all the posts from past 2 days..

It will show only the address of the person who is sponsoring, your address will not be shown with SPONSOR info, you will need the file # to see your address (but that also disappears from time to time), but don't worry as long as you had the correct address in the forms you submitted you will be fine

Hi,

I have some confusion regarding the addresses that are being shown on ECAS... My wife is my sponsor and she is in Canada.. I am in India.. Just when I login to ECAS there are two addresses shown:

1. Your home address
2. Your mailing address

Both of these addresses are my wife's addresses in Canada.. I login using the fee receipt number... Is there some place where my Indian address will be shown?

This waiting is killing..sent the passport on feb 23 and still waiting for an update..

Wonder if the address dissapearing is due to some glitch on e-cas. If it is, should it not dissapear for all people?

The address missing should be a fuc$ing glitch.
My medicals line went missing around the 3rd week of feb and i still don have it..now its this address thingy.

I also remember Baloo or Leon saying something about this few weeks ago that it will disappear. No worry as long as the address that was shown was correct.

Can you tell me if your status is "app received" or "in process".

Reason i ask is i have seen most if not all cases which had a "app received" status get their visa's very fast in like 2-3 months.
For some reason the "in process" status looks scary...not sure how many had in process and got their visa fast.
Mine has been in process since Feb, so just wondering if this is an indication for a delay.

No worry things happens, and I know I feel I'm growing old in this thread as well, I know my first post was on this forums was on this thread pretty sure,, and its on PAGE 196... and today we are over 500, anyways...

My status still says "Application Received" under the PR columm

I hope that means what you are describing... 2-3 months.

Reason i ask is i have seen most if not all cases which had a "app received" status get their visa's very fast in like 2-3 months.
For some reason the "in process" status looks scary...not sure how many had in process and got their visa fast.
