I was wondering if i should ask my husband to send them a query, coz they really havent replied to either of mine. I dont know, if his sending the query would make much of a difference

Okay just checked ecas.

My spouse's address in no longer listed.

But, now in the box that says they received his application, there is another sentence saying that he has an interview on May 4, 2011.

I am not sure how they have notified him, so I will call tonight and see what info he has received.

Hopefully this is a start for everyone else!!

All the best, any idea why they would call you in without asking for additional documents?
The applicant will get a letter confirming the date and time..this is the only confirmation they send other than updating it in ecas..

yes my applicant ppr date was five days after they received file...... but after that I am waiting ..though it is early for them to make any decision on my file...so will have patience...........

I am also seeing they are calling for more interviews and less time given...i wonder how we can arrange tickets and everything to fly to delhi in short period............

The sponsor is not required to attend, they should be available by phone..you can go if you wish but these days they are scheduling interviews in 2 weeks..that really is hard for ppl like us to get days off and catch a flight...

Sneaky...interesting they are doing this more now, adding information without changing the status to "In Process" and they are also scheduling the interviews close. This was the case for drdave as well.

Yeah, just by chance I clicked on the Application Received, and I saw the extra sentence.

I do hope the interview goes well, I am a worrier but my spouse is not, so we will see....

its common to get engaged soon as its an arranged one .. nothing fishy about that in India...its more of the communication before & after which they are concerned.

Yeah, in case i wanna fly ill take Jet directly to delhi and meet her there..much easier..stay in a few days in a hotel near the embassy.
Flights to delhi are not always booked from the south anyways, but u wanna go there wait for the visa and get her back right, so we would need 3 weeks min...

and this is the 3rd interview i am seeing on this thread in the last 6 months or so..and this is the first i am seeing in ND without a additional document request, usually they ask you for the divorce papers etc etc ( if its a 2nd marriage)...ND as we know is unpredictable.

while like 5 days after we met my husband got me a celll phone...we talked everyday everynight on it to each other...i remmemer my relatives would get irritated..i would always go to his house and spend time with him..and go out together...its to bad i couldnt get our call detail from the time we met to our marriage becuz my phone was lost on the day of our WEDDING RECEPTION lol we were both unseperable...id get my brother to go take me to meet him to lol it was amazing , we even went shoppping together to pik out bridal wear...he piked it out of his choice and wedding chooray tooo i miss him soooooooo muchhh <3

Hmm i assume u sent all the calls info..and did u stay in india from aug-marriage?
and..did u also keep your entry exit stamp in your passport?
