understaff is not our problem......they have to find solution for that. according to information CIC is not a burden on taxpayers. fees we pay are covering all the expenses so if they need more staff they must recruit more and help unemployment.
infact CIC have big money...waiting time is so high for many classes and countries that CIC is making good money from interest for fees deposited.
CIC must recruit more people to bring down wait time but i guess it not the problem of understaff....its just that they are high headed, less efficient people. and red-tapism is at highest level in CIC...they are provided with so many previledges like no right to appeal for visitor visa.....no right to appeal for inlanders....VO's decision is final....VO can not be questioned....applicants can not contact them....why? why?
if they have call centre..why call center can not provide the information???? if MP can pull information why can't apllicants....its just to creat hype....anybody can contact MP and get information...what is the need to bring MP into loop for bringing the info out....
They must make the status info available via call center otherwise call center is not needed....they are spending meaninglessly on call center if they dont provide the required information........
