It shows info abt my a letter being sent to me abt sponsorship approval (decision made). Nothing under 'permenant resident application' (says not available)..
Also...half of my husband's middle name is missing (I'm guessing it's because it was too long)..did anyone have the same issue?

@ brin

yea...not to worry....it probably didnt fit in the column for on-line system....

Hi Batman,
I have seen people using Speed Post or Blue dart or DHL
And everything works from what i have read..just confirm the mailing address as well so people can just confirm.
All the best.

Hey Delhi peoples...

So interview is over, and my husband was told he would receive his visa by mail in about 10 to 15 days. YAY!!!!! He asked for it right away as I am leaving on the 1st but they said they can't give it to us on the spot.

So the interview went like this:

You get to the embassy and you check in, it can't be more than 30 minutes ahead of scheduled time. You need id. Once you check in, you go through security then you register at the reception and wait. We waited maybe 15 minutes, then they called my husband's name to go to a certain interview room. He went in alone.

It was a white canadian woman who interviewed him. She was friendly he says and asked him if he wanted his interview in English, French, Hindi or Punjabi. He thought this was a test (I dont speak anything but English or French), so he chose English She started right away and told him to ask her if he didnt understand. She then asked him if he understood her and he said yes.

She asked him only about 10 questions.

1) where we met
2) how we met
3) did we get married in his village
4) when did he come to India, back from Greece
5) is he still working n Greece
6) Where do I work
7) Where do I go to school
8) How many people were at our reception
9) Does he have additional proof with him (she didnt look at it though)
10) Where do I work (she repeated this question) I think it was because I work for the Canadian government so she wanted to make sure she understood him.

The whole interview was about 15 minutes max 20. She then told him she would be giving him the visa, it would come by mail She gave him all the pictures and phone cards back that we submitted and he was done. They didnt interview me at all, he did tell her I was there but I didn't get interviewed. And that was it, simple, painless and out we went.

Thank you to everyone who was and has been a support to me. I am gonna stay active on the forum to support you all through the process. May you all get visa soon. Cheers
