i am tracking the case for my cousin sister. so additional docs that nd requested from her were: proof of communication, and some outing photos etc.... which most of the ppl from this thread received (or may be few)....

chc nd had already received the pp and the additinal docs on mar 14/11 and now it is just the waiting game....

From what i read from this forum it depends on your case, if it is straight forward it could be more emails, more phone bills, more outing pics etc ( if you did not submit all these to begin with or maybe they need a few more ), more passport pages..
If there is a divorse or child involved they ask for more stuff..i am not in that league so no idea..but usually they do not request additional documents if you provided them with plenty when you applied..

i guess it all depends up on the VO or IO.... some are like.... yea whatever....and some are like...no we want more stuff....


i guess as long as they get what they want....the case should be ok...

Mind me asking if you ever tried contacting ND abt the delay?

u never know what they will ask for.... doesn't matter if u have submitted like 500 pics...if they want little more to see them...they will ask for it...

Yes, its better not to worry cos when they do ask for additional documents you won't know what they ask anyways..its just their way of handling cases.
Wife sent email to delhi last week and they said they would reply within 28 days and she tried calling but its an automated message asking u to check ur status in ecas..so no idea why my delay is so huge.

i have seen ppl here who got the response from chc nd within like 2 days....and for some in like 7 days....ur wife can try again on mar 28/11 again....cuz u mentioned that she sent one on feb 28/11.....it will surpass their 28 days timeline....

Has anyone had luck trying to call this number and talking to an agent, it always says sorry busy and hangs up on me...

try on wednesday or thursday afternoon....these are the days when they are least busy (according to their automated message and website)

they probably will send u the ppr first....based on the experience that my sister had....but u never know with them...they might do the review and change the status to in-process and then ask for the pp....

Yeah..I agree with your plan if sanyrog is okay with that..But I think, she is planning to depart on March 28, or something...

But i have planned on April 3....

I am eagerly waiting......lets see when I receive PPR.
I was told by someone that ND have diffrent standards for people from Punjab based on their past experince.
Anyways hoping for the best.....
