Well, mine will take a bit longer as I am waiting for my FBI clearance certificate which is expected this week or next. Will have to courier that to CHC as soon as I receive it... Maybe 2 weeks more after that.... At least my stress levels have gone down! I feel relieved now... Good Luck all..

Hi. Mine n minku's PPR date is same...sent on 29th Jul 10....along with Medical redo...since it got overdue maybe due to lenghty Background check...Hope everyone gets the Visa sooner than later...

Minku9, i dont c any date on which the decision was made...it simply says decision made and office will contact concerning this decision...i was able to c it 2day (24-aug)...dats it ...

hah! I read ur post on "just for fun" that this is ur real name. Wanted to share mine but its plain silly! There's no story per se... Its just a fictitious character, a warrior, all thanks to my imagination, I came up with when I was really young... cropped up in my head while playing as a kid....n this name stuck by me... I use it as my nick all over cyberspace... told u it's silly....

Pictures returned n Doc request: 17 Oct 09
Doc sent: 30 Oct 09
Long wait of 8 months
Re-Medicals and Passport Request..: 23-07-2010 (sent July 29)

Since I served in central govt sector, that may be the reason I presume for this long wait.

WOW!!!!! That is unreal....man, i hope it never happens to anyone...did u try ordering ciaps or emailing them, did they tell u why thy made u wait or ur guessing??? Did u work for central govt in India??
