Guys,

I really dont understand what ND is doing.. they dont grant us visit visa also stating that no guarantee that vl return back to India. They take their own time in issuing PRs also.. what happiness do they get, by having us separated from each other?? There shud be a place where all public shud put our grievances. ok, some say quota .. still, its not our fault to apply it during september.. If they r gonna take 2months to open our file, just cos of their quota rules, they shud atleast let us knw.. Or they shud process it faster to those applns which r affected mainly cos of their quota stupid rules..

A lawyer told me it is 6 months from when Delhi started processing, i thought it was from initial application time as well but he says there is no use to enquire now, he was an immigration officer so I kinda trust his opinion....

okkkkkkk it means they will make rules tht too as per their convenience and favor,,,,as a applicant we dont get a single benefit of tht,,,
i want to ask one question here ,,,if we apply for visitors visa they refuse by giving reasons like trvel history,,familily ties,,and wht not,,,,if we apply for PR they keep us waiting sometime they opened our files,they communicate an thn suddenly they stop all activities on the name of BC or something,,,and very conveniently they give us the reason tht ur file is under bc chks so we cant tell u the exact time for investigations???they will delay the process due to various reasons sometimes their own reasons of rules and quotas and on the top of it they will get pissed of by our inquiries also,,,,y we have applied all types of visas???just to stay with our loved ones right? for refugees they have heart and wht abt genuine applicant???they dont deserve their family?newly married ppl like me how they will get settle in such hard situation?
like adihanda said our husband/wife had their dreams to settle in Canada ,,and after hardship they get settle there now they want their spouses to be with them is it their mistake tht they have chosen such heartless country to live with their spouses?

Do I answer ONLY the highest, or I answer everything including highschool and elementary?

U shud answer the highest level. If its masters, mention that alone. No need to mention the bachelor degree.

NOTE: My answer is YES, do I still have to EXPLAIN? as I see if you mark "NO > 'line says' "Explain below. Use sep page.. add...." if not required to explain, then do I just put N/A

Santiv, Is it so?? Cos, in my case my file is transferred to ND in oct beg, but New Delhi started processing oly after 2months.. I assumed the 6months time frame starts from the day sponsorship is approved. But if its gonna be from the day they started processing, it l be May 30th.. Which I dont like!!!!!!!!!!! if thats the case, I dont want to come to Canada. Its not worth it!!!!!!!! They dont even like us doing enquiries or MP.. what the hell!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is strange that they waited so long to even start processing your case. Even if it does reach over the six month time (in March for us) I probably really cannot do a whole lot about it... Some people I have heard of have been waiting over 17months... but they have different cases... I don't think the MP can do much either, they can check status but as in our case I am not sure that it was even updated. It stresses me out because we sent further documents at the beginning of December and on Jan17th our MP said they have no record of receiving it yet, but it was confirmed by the post to have been received... So how are we to know that they have it? If they don't get it they said they will throw out our case... It is really frustrating...

In any case, I guess we must expect that 6 months from our processing time some kind of decision can possibly be made... that way we wont get our hopes up too soon.

santiv, they must have issue the visa if your case is straight easy however if they requested additional documents or ur spouse been visted different countries it may take long to check the backround , docs submitted by you on jan 17th the last step is Decision made on positive side so have a patience . do not loose your hopes. you will be hear by next week Visa stamp on your passport lolz. now they have to , kept your passport for 4 months not the solution. so start your future plan.
