no update from minister, they are all lazy people, you would think that when you email them this they would have a decentcy of emailing you back saying we are looking into this. but it is a shame.

The case processsing time have been count the day of the sponsorship approved by CIC Mississauga.

yes the day since we have applied and i know ND counting is diff. :'(,,,but ppl get visa within 2-5 months y its has been delayed in my case i dont know :'( where as they were working continuously on my application,,,till dec they were in touch with me through posts,through e-mail and phone call,,,they have my med's also ,,,,they said they dont need any docs from my side,,,i just cant figure it out wht cud be the reason ???

i just pray tht every one shud get visa quickly ,,dont want any1 shud suffer like me

A lawyer told me it is 6 months from when Delhi started processing, i thought it was from initial application time as well but he says there is no use to enquire now, he was an immigration officer so I kinda trust his opinion....

I told you folks already , Inquiring about case from ND is useless and it might have more adverse effects on the case processing time itself.

@Goodnews : May be you are right that PPR is on the way , we will come to know in next week or two so let's c.I am sure you are going to the get the PPR before I do so keep posted

i thought ive seen instances in this thread where emailing for update n going to MP for them to do has helped..at least to get some info..whether useful or not. I dont agree w/ ur immig lawyer. They r full of crap some of them.While it might be true different vos work differently. They cant blame us for wanting to check up on things. For the most part unless u r doing it constantly or too early in this waiting game. They say not to contactthemtil the standard processing time has passed but they do reply to ppl who have. That means something. So u can say for sure if they like it or not. I willtry later if need be n take the risk. Sitting nwaiting butt hearing nothing would be torture..Hope we get visa within 5-6 mths!!!!
2.5 would be lovely...as hubby has to give company 3 mths notice!!!

you are right it would be nice if it could be 2-4 months in total, also it would be good if they can meet certain deadlines considering the importance of family re-unification.
I am just hoping that in year 2011 in first quarter New Delhi works faster ( which usually it does )

Santiv, Is it so?? Cos, in my case my file is transferred to ND in oct beg, but New Delhi started processing oly after 2months.. I assumed the 6months time frame starts from the day sponsorship is approved. But if its gonna be from the day they started processing, it l be May 30th.. Which I dont like!!!!!!!!!!! if thats the case, I dont want to come to Canada. Its not worth it!!!!!!!! They dont even like us doing enquiries or MP.. what the hell!!!!!!!!!!!!
