I have 2 kids with my husband but i dont know if its going to be faster! Hopefully someone whose farther into the app process can tell u. My file was sent over to VO just recently. I dont think it would be faster. It depends on if they think the baby is spouse's too n if marriage is genuine. ppl have babies n dont stay together-sad but true. I knew of someone who went thru morroco n her case was denied n shehad a baby..they made her get dna to show them it belonged to hubby...she had an appeal Won in the end tho.
Some ppl say kids prove a relationship is genuine but just saying u have them doesnt. In my case i lived w/ hubby with kids frm marriage...til i came to Canada to start the sponsorship..so we have pics of me pregnant with my husband, pics of me at hospital with hubby, lots of family pics together too. I think it depends on lots of factors..having kids is one thing but if u r missing crucial documents like police checks n medicals u know what i mean then there will be a delay regardless!!

i just talk with one lady she is working in city office(not immigration), she said this is canada if you keep asking for faster process it might go through....because my due date is coming soon..it might be possible.......but yes it is immigration and situation is diffrent

and I am scared they might ask for more additional documents. which is going to definitely slow the process. and it is great impact....

Turist visa....if we apply now he can definitely make on time...but possibility is such low I can not expect for the issue of visa....

Luckily my husband has been to canada a few times on tourist/visitors visa! Ur spouse has to prove he'll go back & if there's enough evidence - then issuing his visa shouldnt be a problem!

Im not sure if u should tell them now about ur pregnancy or wait til later. It is always a good idea to report changes to them immediately but i dont know about pregnancy. The child is not born yet so u wont b asked to update ur family info. i think it would be up to u whether u want to tell them now n whether u want to send in additional docs like pregnancy records..but it wouldnt be mandatory...but u could if u think that u r lacking on proof when u sent in ur app initially or if u think a pregnancy will help prove ur relationship is more genuine n speed things up.. its hard to say but u r right it would probably add time if u were to voluntarily send additional docs.

See what other ppl say. I thought i saw threads created on this topic before..maybe search for them. Our kids were already born when we started. Good luck!Well a good thing is he should be here by time baby comes (if u r newly pregnant)
...ND VO says 6 mths processing time for 80% of cases.

We all need to pressure them=) Not just sit n wait. My husband and i will ask them for update soon. we r just giving them more time to do the initial review...then we'll ask for update.

VO says they process 80% of the cases in 6 mths..has there been anyone on here before i joined that had a longer processing time than 6 mths w/o an interview & w/o additional docs requested?

i am thinking because my due date is closer , so am wandering they can give him faster visa. but scared it might actually slow down for additional documents.

and one of my friend told me to keep asking, and it might go through(she is working in the city office),but it it is immigation ,situation is diffrent. and honestly i know i can not exect to get faster. but i am thinking to give it try. still i hve two more days to think and talk with my husband till monday....

Folks; so Finally My Sponsorship got apporved by CIC and File has been transfered to New Delhi on January 19

Now I can update my signature
