yes,it helps ,same coming in my side.but dont know why i stil not get my pp.who ate my pp,where it gone.cant understand.I went 5 times in the post office today to check.

Hi, our PPR took longer than average compared to others in the forum. Just under 6 weeks!
My husband rec'd an email today, with a PDF file stating his own UCI# and same file # that I got with the approval. It asked to submit RPRF recepit/PCC/and Passport so they they can continue. I already faxed CIC-M RPRF a few weeks ago and PCC was with original application. But we're going to send photocopies of both with the PP just in case. He's going to mail the package tommrw, so VO should have it Wednesday morning.

Ur seems to be inprocess for a long time, have u been requested for additional doc / interviewed?

Did you hear anything from ND after u mailed ur PP?

I see lot of cases where the passport of the applicant has been requested first and then the status on ECAS being changed to "In-Process".

Has anyone been in a situation where the ECAS status has been updated to "In-Process" before the passport has been requested. If so, what are the time lines for the situation?

Mine went in Process on June 5 but I still haven't received my PPR. My application was received on Jan 19 and I was approved as a sponsor and file forwarded to VO on April 5.

Hi guys, I have sponsored my wife (ND VO) and we have reached the final stages (I hope!) where it says "In Process" on E-Cas. I don't mean to spam the forum, but I have a question about my Indian Passport and given the experienced crowd on this forum, hoping to get some answers, and also wanting to know if this will affect my wife's PR in any way. I will copy and paste the question that I had posted in another thread. Please let me know if you guys have any insights on this:

I am an Indian Citizen and Canadian Permanent Resident. My passport expired in April and I sent an application for a new Passport to VFS Vancouver. Today I received a letter from CGI-Vancouver stating that:

"It is observed that your above-mentioned passport contains Canadian visa issued by the Canadian Consulate located at Buffalo. However, there is no American Visa in the passport. Under the provisions contained in the Govt. of India Passport Act...blah blah blah .. sending of Indian Passports out of a country is violation of the act".

They are referring to my Post Graduation Work Permit and Visa issued at Buffalo, when I had applied for it back in 2006. I had sent my application to CPC Vegreville. Wasn't it normal procedure back then in 2006? I believe it still is.. isn't it? I had sent my passport to Vegreville and not to Buffalo. I have never been to the United States, nor do I have any kind of American Visa.

Is anybody else in this situation? What should I do? I wrote an email and sent a scanned copy of this letter to CGI-Vancouver and also to VFS Vancouver through which I applied to get a new Indian Passport. I guess I should wait for their reply, but getting a bit anxious and see if anybody here has any ideas on what to do.

Hi rv_maria sister,

I got my PP+visa+ COPR.I think CHC ND changes sticker colour.Earlier it was little in pink and it is in bluish.Thank God,wait is over.
I hope and pray for all those applicant who has had filled their files and in process,will get visa as soon as possible.All of your dreams comes true.
I am very happy today.
Moreover,I will see the forum time by time and check the updates from forum.If anyone need any kind of help.I will provide my best advice.
dont worry guys,ur visas are on the way,just to give little kick.
