Thanks. The waiting is way too frustrating. It is too bad that they keep us in the dark and we are totaly not aware of what is going on. It is sad that nothing we can do about it.

Abad,Vengat83,,and other guys who are on this forum.

i need very important help from expert guys who are considering valuable information,

I have interview on dated 24 May,2012.

.My wife went to MP office and they were very helpful and i got responce that intial review has been done,ur file is in queue for interview.so after two days in my ecas staus coming interview in on datedXXXXXXX

So when i look my filled form,i found one mistake that i did in IMM0008 that i went to abroad on student visa.after i leave study then take asylum.but I did work in comapny for three year and i have that certificate,

I fill on status of country 1)student....from to that date.that is correct
but i was asylum seeker there but I filled on that worker.but i think i should have to fill the asylum seeker.

can anyone tells it affect on my application.?if yes ,how i manage now.???
I and my wife filled application themself.we didnot hire any consultant.
what I will tell to immigration officer if he ask about it.?what i tell if he ask about my status.???

pls help me? I am so much worried.pls help.

I would say you mention ONLY if they ASK for it, specifically.

If that is a mistake by oversight, I would disclose it upfront even before the interview. If that is not disclosed and if they find it out later it would affect the credibility and it might adversely affect your application. If I were in your situation, I would send them a letter explaining that mistake even before the interview.

I think now time is over to disclose.Because intial review has been done already.I attached travel PCC and I think they clarify about it.Otherwise they request for it or they will not forward my application as if they found it is false imformation,or if they want to confirm on the interview,,what u think If I will speak true on the spot that its happen my mistake when I will in front of immigration officer.?? By your travel PCC they might have already sensed it. I think disclosing it before they ask would be better. They appreciate it. If you disclose it after they ask, they might ask you many questions like - why didn't you disclose it even though you knew it is incorrect? You might find it hard to answer those questions.

You might want to disclose it as soon as the interview begins by telling the facts. It will not affect your application in anyway. You can tell them that you found that mistake recently while reviewing your forms.

we cant disclose anything until they no request for it.If I send it now,it will delay my application process and its depends on immigration officer,,I am not giving them false information,,on interview time ,,i will tell direct,before starting the interview,,if they ask ,,put the question ,,i would say ,,i filled application by my self and do not lie anything,its happens,just they want to confirm,,if they ask.first they ask the question about genuial relationship.it does not matter,,if i disclose before or on the interview time.same thing.I just discussed with one guy who already gave interview and have some mistakes in his application.but he accepted by visa officer..will see what happen.I think status is not big deal..even refugee unable get PCC,,i read in the CIC websites that if refugees cant get PCC,,they can give explanation.Mostly interview are the find to or clarify the geneue marriage relationship..other,,dont know what happen..

Finally I cant disclose before until they request for it.also now interview is near about .

also i didnt get any letter from CHC for interview,,just find out from MP and next day saw on e-cas.my wife again went to MP.now again sent enquiry through MP.Hope whole information come through MP.

Also we are human being,,everyone can do mistakes.I request two times PCC,,second of them have mistake in pcc on the year.I request them to correct it.Then they sent me new one again.

Hey guys,

Last week, Access to Information and Privacy Division returned my Application because I haven't attached the consent form signed by my wife. Could anyone suggest, resubmitting the application with scanned copy of signed consent form will be acceptable(I mean scanned copy is sufficient or do I need to show my wife's signature with pen).

What exactly do they do in the background check? My husband has travel histori in UK for 1.5 year. But we have attached a PCC from there will that help at all?
