Guys- something weird happened!

I got a Passport Request letter twice!!!! The last one dated in "April 5th" and my lawyer just got it in the mail today (3 weeks after it was sent, just like the first one).
But the thing is that, they got my passport on March 24th (as it says through the mail tracking number from UPS), and they started processing my application on March 29th-
So WHY and HOW come they sent me another Passport Request letter dated April 5?!?!?!

My consultant sent them an email today saying that they already have my passport.

What Do you think is going on??? ??? ???
Is emailing them the best way to reach to them?

Or maybe I'm just so special that they want my passport really badly, because they are dying to give the my visa! 8)

most probably is automated email. don sweat it. email CIC though, just to make sure. stay cool

its a proposal, sponsored spouses will come to canada as visitors(which will be quicker). and after the husband n wife have stayed together for 2 yrs, they will grant PR-ship. Read the cic website n read the news, dont go by rumors !

i have a question. if new delhi decides to give my husband an interview. how long does it take after passport sent to the date of the interview? how many months in between.

in my experience 3 weeks - 3 months. depending when ur medicals are expiring i guess.

I thought I could see some kind of update but found below notice on site

"NOTE: Due to regular maintenance, CIC online services will not be available Wednesday, April 25, 2012, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. EST.

We are currently experiencing intermittent technical issues with MyCIC. Users may experience difficulties when attempting to access the system"

Yes, You are right, this seems like quick work but they should keep this speed until final step
