Guys! Still says "In Process" for me and when I click on it, it just says "Application Received on...." I WANT MY VISA NOW!!!!!!!!!!

Mine is InProcess too. I dropped an email to my constituency MP explaining the process that happened so far and the 5 week waiting drama since we sent our PP to ND.

Hope I get a reply soon from the MP about what she's gonna do about it.

I had called mp office today as its more than 6 months. They followed up with Ottawa and Ottawa said police clearance is needed. ND had asked for foreign travel details and we gave that info and clearly stated that the stay in foreign country is less than six months. And then ND had replied that they are doing background check and no further info needed from us but now Ottawa is giving contradicting information. Don't know what is going on. We have not received letter from Nd about bc. Anyone else also in same boat please share your experiences? Would be greatly appreciated

my wife went MP and Just reply from MP office that,
intial review has been done.you will contacted for interview.
I sent lot of stuff,email FB chat,,Yahoo conversation and many more proof from 2.5 years when i submitted application.

dont know what they other want to know.

if they put question that why u married with her even she is bigger than u by age,,and have son.then what is the best answer for this?

pls help help,expert advice,,I want here from all members on this forum give me answer for this ,so i can give correct and efficent answer to CHC ND.????

If I were you, I would simply tell, "I didnt knew she was 4 yrs older than me when I fell in love with her".

You know what I mean, You cant ask for bio data and then start liking someone right? Isn't it illogical to do such a thing. So tell them, both of you were in deep love and then you realised she is 4 yrs older to you and for that simple reason you cant stop loving her or getting married to her.

That would be be just me. You might wanna take a second and third opinion as well.

mine replied back with the same thing but cos i told them i have booked her tickets for apr 23, they also mentioned that they will fast track the process and tell me the status asap. i am not worried about waiting for few weeks, but i dont understand why they take passport from us and then "process". when i applied in SW program i had to travel to Japan from my work but CIC had my passport with them for 3 months and that didnt go well with my employer and my clients.

i want to convey this message to ND. other visa offices take passport only when they want to stamp the visa. and why cant they update the ecas with "passport received". this is what happens when there is no competition, they get to give awful service and get away with it, cos where else can we apply . i hope the new immigration system comes into place where they give multiple entry visa to spouse immediately and process PR after 2 yrs. horrible work by ND CIC.

yes,i dont know before she is elder than me.we met on facebook and we gave everything in questinare too.how we met..

but how to start if officer put this question,why u married with her.?
due to my opinion, is that i can tell that
i dont know when i added her in facebook that she is maried or divored and dont know she has son from previous marriage.we just talk as a friend earlier.time passes,we understand each other.slowly slowly we know about our families..than sometime t chat after a week and send msg on facebook.so after 2 year going ,i know she was also looking for someone and i was looking for some one ,mean looking for a best match,we has had very good understanding and i cant leave without her and everytime when on my computer wait for her email.or just we get intrested in each other,like this our relation going further more more and.also she came india for me two times.first her parents did nt agree with our realtioship and my side my father was not agree with marriage.she went back in april 2011
after alll she told me if ur parents agree now then i can come in july holidays,so i agree my parents and she's to her and came india in july 2011finally we got married.
what u guys think about it?is this is good to tell to officer

Definitely yours is a convincing reply. But to be honest, put it in a nice and simple english. Dont confuse the Visa Office too much and that would be a problem.

Arrange your answer chronologically with dates and then I believe you should be okay.

That's ridiculous! I don't understand why they gave you an interview. Clearly your relationship is genuine, you guys even traveled together for so long! What are these people doing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do they not see the obvious?!?!?!?!??!!! Why do you think they called you in for an interview? Is there a religion difference or something?

Anyway- did your application ever go to "In Process" ? if so, how long has it been?

and do they put the interview date and stuff on ECas?

i know,

but i see some point from ND side,
- why we married in Thailand and
- why register marriage and
- why no one from both side family, in marriage.

and i also applied for TRV for Canada which got refused and then we went to Thailand and got married...


but i am not afraid of interview, by this way i can prove them that our relationship is total genuine ...

Try sending them email on re-delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca but they won't reply till 15 to 30 days.. (pathetic)
