The nest is going to be ksunny and SBDelhi....they got in process recently, so if their case is straight forward, they should expect a DM pretty soon, in a week.

I sent my passport on Mar 1...I havent got any changes in my ecas status.. still says app rec'd...

Thanks for the wishes guys!!!!Appreciate it. It's all your good wishes. I'm still waiting for the PP, but the address in my wife's account has been changed to Toronto, Ontario. My wife has not travel history and my case is straightforward, maybe that's why...Anyway the real work starts now..I'm just waiting for the PP...Hoping to get it before end of week

Re: Getting passport sent outside India from New Delhi

there are always ways to get around the system. even if his buddy brings his passport back there is still a tiny issue of getting his landing papers and getting his PR processed which can only be done at a port of entry. the only nearest port of entry is to go across US border and re-enter canada but he can't cross US border without US visa. and depending on when his medicals expire his PR entry visa will expire then. so for couple months pain not sure if its worth to go around and try to beat the system. just my 2 cents

I am not sure but you can send your PP with other Guy who travelling to INDIA, Again I Am not Sure coz (i read Some Forum That 1 guy sent his pp along with his friend and get visa too )

Today 50 days gone to sent passport,stil status coming "Application received"
dont know where is my file.ON which table it placed.dont know when they look on this.

I will send email through MP in the end of March.anyone advice me,can i do this?

don't stress too much about it. let it be, it will come through. just an FYI 6 months processing is from the time file is transferred to ND (may 24th as per ur time line), you can contact your MP at end of march but you will get a generic response back that its pending an initial review from the visa officer and they will ask you not to do another inquiry until 6 months have passed.

When ND asks for PP, Is it has to be at the beginning of the case processing?

or ND can ask for the PP after started processing file.

Is there any time limit by when PP has to send to ND ?

As per the new process implemented last summer, in majority of the cases ND will ask for the passport typically within 30 days of them receiving your file from cpc-m.

the first generic letter you get from nd asking to pay the fees, send in your police clearance, and passport to expedite the process. However if you choose you can send your passport later, when they send you a second letter asking for it, that letter will have a deadline. But this will typically add at least 4 Weeks to overall processing time cause of mailing.
