congrats Maha. what city you guys are settling in?
as for the new address thats not an issue in fact at the immigration they will ask you to verify the mailing address so let them know about the new address.
regarding transit visa in UK i am assuming you are asking if you can go outside of the airport for few hours or a day between your flights? for that you will need to apply for visitor in transit visa before you fly out. UK border service is weird that way. UK border service sometimes issues the visa on the spot too but that is at the discretion of the custom officer and esp for people will indian or pakistani passports probability of getting that one is low unless you are being accompanied by a canadian or US citizen.
the other type of visa they have is called Airside Transit visa, this one is granted to you automatically for staying at the airport waiting for your connecting flight...why do they have this visa? its just their way of collecting personal information on all passengers going through UK.

for your personal belongings, you don't need to have a list unless you are bringing in lots of money and jewelry. However, you do get 1 year to bring back your belongings duty free, so if you are planning to bring more stuff on ur future trips or getting them shipped than give that list to the border services agent so they can add that to the system and you won't get harassed in the future. on a side note if you are bringing in lots jewelry and you will be flying back and forth to attend weddings/family gathering etc and will be taking your jewelry with you, get it appraised and keep the copy with you as in future if you take jewelry out and without proof you didn’t buy this on your recent trip they could charge you duty on it.
hope this answers ur questions

Got my PP with visa...
One problem.. my husband moved to a different city a month back.. living at his friend's place, so we couldn't change the address till he finds a proper residence.. two weeks back he moved in to a new address, but I got my DM soon.. now the documents say "city of destination: old address"
is it ok if i take address proof for new address along, will they accept the change of address on COPR..?
