I have not much experience or expertise in my opinion it might not meaning any significantly except that they have updated your ECAS.
However please inform CHC-ND about the correct address.

though i think the keep unqualified people for such job who dont understand updating with correct address or order
in couple of my previous letters from ND they put incorrect spelling or order of name and address

but luckily the letters inside were written and addressed correctly

What is the baggage allowance from India to Canada?
Lufthansa?
BA?

My wife says 23 Kgs X 2 bags = 46 kgs..
so if i come to pick her up she says it will be 23 kgs X 4 bags = 92 kgs..

She also says..
One for my mixie / grinder
all the rest of the three for my things!

"..and what about me?"
"..you can carry your stuff in your "hand baggage.."..

Is that fair?????

Not all airlines allow 2 free checked.in baggage ESP, on flights to and from north America.. Eg star alliance, like Lufthansa, air Canada allow one free checked baggage and 2nd one is charged $70. Klm and Swiss use to allow 2 but I believe as of Jan 1st klm allows one. BA allows 2. Virgin allows 3 free checked in. so check ur airline website

For most airlines 3rd piece will cost

also all immigrants have a year to bring in their stuff custom free but have to let the custom agent know what else you'll be bringing or being shipped at your first et port of entry.

Immigrating or not, total baggage allowance is only 23 X 2

Immigration allowance is only for the Customs in Canada, if you are importing valuables.

Delhi to toronto is good for someone who is traveling by air 1st time. And the shitty service in Air india will make them feel like home too. ;D

Consider urself lucky. She is allowing you to carry your things atleast in hand baggage.

lol. true. You could carry extra badge with extra fair too and I don't think charges are that high.

Mine went to in process in beginning sept. then mid oct that was removed and then in dec it said medicals recd...
we applied in May. were approved end June. then lawyer was trying to process throw buffalo...but then sent it to ND end July...so that is the story. My husband is in the states on work visa...and so far nothing yet...this wait is so ahhhhhhhh

My medicals were updated on the same day i.e dec 3 and now on jan 13 they updated in process. Wat is ur staus by the way? Did u ever got in process on ur ecas?

So what's the status of your application? At BC? Did your spouse travel any other countries besides US? What does lawyer or MP says?
