If you haven't sent your application yet, consider sending as many pictures as you can !

I sent about 400 pics chronologically arranged in separate envelopes with descriptions and dates, starting from engagement, spouse meeting my parents' house, my parents meeting my spouse's house, some trips that they did together, my spouse meeting my sister, pics of us together when we met in airport, when we did our wedding shopping, before the wedding pics, reception pics, actual ceremonial pics, after the wedding ceremony pics, honeymoon pics in all different locations, family get together pics after wedding, etc...

I also wrote descriptions behind all the pictures wherever necessary to explain who is in the pic.

Its good to add the pictures of your colleges and office representatives from both sides as they would have taken picture with you together in your wedding.

WOW! That's a lot of pictures!!! :o :o :o :o I sent about 100 pictures and I thought that was a lot lol!! I also wrote a description on the back about when, where, and what it was about.

I had a problem with getting phone call bills- since I use Google Voice to call my husband in Canada, the call is free- and there isn't anyting for me to pay! so the only thing I could have sent them was to- log into my google voice account and get the history of the phone calls made to his number (Which showed his phone number, time and date and duration of the phone call), and there wasn't a proper way to print it out, so I had to copy and paste it on MS Word.

We should all share wedding pix, so enlighten the mood :) What do you guys say??

Lol, I know, we sent abt 20 pics of each function/trip, printed 4 pictures on one page with a hand-written description. Turned out inexpensive yet effective :D

Haha, I soooo love your idea about the wedding pics! But not sure on this public site. FB? :)

Lmao!! It's been almost two months since I have seen my husband... after the 3rd month, I get all crazy and jittery!! I'm talking up to him to come down here in March to visit me again. Maybe we will go to Orlando, Florida- But I don't want to count that has my honeymoon lol.

Yeah FB sounds better and more private, should we create a group???

Thank you! You are right! My husband said the same thing, that March sounds better than Jan where the weather is concerned. Thing is, my dad was supposed to visit us this Feb (he's still working on that), but I have tons of other family. We thought it would be a better idea to have me visit him and the others than the other way round. So let's see if that happens.

And most importantly a visit to our holy places - Makkah and Madinah inshallah, before I begin my new life :)

Some body here told 400 pics..!!

I had sent 6 X 4 = 24 photos may be.
4 per page, not color xerox but Konica photos, labeled.

When i applied for TRV I sent a big blow up of A3 Size of the marriage.
It is just says "Stick this up your..face.." "...we are married.."

You see they dont see the "big picture" (literally)

They are more concerned why the coffee machine is not working in the office.

Congratulations shamsia on receiving the passport!!!

Hi,
Congratulations!!!
sorry for jumping in here from London :D,,,,,, I had the same plans to visit my sister in saudia and to visit the holly places but they have given me 28 days to land only, grrrrrrrrrrr

Enjoy your time in saudia and Goodluck in ur new life!

Congrats shamsia, i have a question can we pay the landing fees when the passport is requested from ND. As i have only payed the application fees and no tthe landing fees at the time of sending the appplication to mississauga. While this delay any processing time.

Thanks

Hi there,

1. Yes you need to submit a PCC which is not older than 3 months at the time of submitting you application from all the countries you have lived in for 6 months or more. In some instances where you are unable to get a PCC, you can submit a letter explaining that you were not able to get it at the moment, but it will be forwarded as soon as it arrives. Also, show them what steps have been taken to obtain the said PCC.

2. Your agent is wrong. You must get your medicals done and include the receipt before you submit the application. Mississauga will send your application back if you do not send your medicals and that will delay your case.

Hope this helps.
