Can youll help me understand this a bit:
We sent the passport in November to ND, but did not receive any acknowledgment from ND if they received it. only thing we have is from the courier that it was delivered.

Does ND usually let us know if they received or not?

I wouldnt delay in contacting MP office in this case. Try to explain your situation to the office. They can get back to you within 48 to 72 hrs. I am not sure on this but enquiry doesnt affect the process of your application.

Well, at first, you have to visit the office in order to give them your details together with an authority of info release from your spouse. Then once you are done, they will request the info to the visa office abroad which they get it within 24 hrs for most of the time. Then, the office calls you and let you know about what they have got from the visa office abroad.
