there are few who got visa last month but they were waiting for long long time due to different issues..

reappeared after exactly 3 weeks of disappearing, but i didnt change my mailing address, status remains the same.

There are 2 ways to do that.

1- Ship transportation ( sea cargo).
Benefits - you can ship more than 200 Kg at a time. Cheaper than air Cargo.
Disadvantage- Long time for shipping,
-They won't accept less than 100-200 Kgs stuff.
-Port to port shipping. They do not ship to your address. So you will have to make an arrangement to deliver those stuff to your place.

2- Air cargo
Benefits - Delivery within 5-6 days
- Home delivery

Disadvantage - Expensive ( on an average Rs 250-300/ Kg ) and I doubt if they will carry big furniture.

Thanks for the reply kuku We have already decided on sea cargo. Time isnt an issue, but money is ;D I hope someone who has actually shipped stuff could tell me about their experience.

My wife was talking about some "Balaji Courier"
I told that name doesnt sound international...
I prefer some think LLoyds or Whitman etc...

But she says many of her friends have used...

LOL! The local companies usually have tie-ups with the international ones and thats how stuff is done I believe. Can you please get the contact no? Will appreciate it. Thanks!
