Today there is one line added into my ecas and that is "Medical results have been recd" , very slow process by ND, they dint asked even my PP yet...still waiting on that....
hope they asked my pp asap

Yes the process is very slow. Hopefully they surprise everyone with good news as it is Christmas.

Hey pal,

it might take upto 6 weeks to get your CAIPS notes. I am not sure but I believe it might effect processing time too. Since they have to take the file out collect the Notes and send you. Then put the file back in the queue.

Yes CHC ND and VO will know that you have requested the CAIPS notes.

About the private agency, when you pay them, you authorize them to comminicate with CIC on your behalf. It is their business, they charge you what 40 or 50 dollars and they only pay $5 for CAIPS notes.

There is a reason why the processing is so slow at ND, I have some unconfirmed information which I will not be posting here since its "unconfirmed". So you might want to wait another 4-6 weeks before you decide to take next step.

You have a pretty interesting timeline. You applied way back in January and no sign of Passport Request yet? This is incredible :-/ Hope ND hurries up!

Its been almost an year and you have not got PPR yet. That's strange. Did you ever try to enquire it?

nancync i also got same update. saturday medical line is added to my file too hope its a +ve sign as we both r waiting frm long time so may b they have forwarded our file for final review n b4 tht they made made all the correction.......this is the only +ve thing i cud find

Usually, when they add "medicals received"..that means they're ready to issue the visa for you..reason being, when I applied to come to Canada as a Skilled Worker in 2010 (it was an 8 month process by the way, fast track) ecas just showed "application received" at first, and then when I sent my PP, after 2 weeks, it said Medicals received and a week after, decision made and I got my passport back within the week ecas changed to "decision made"

yeah, hope its a positive sign, I really want to go now on this christmas , coz its been a long time that i met my hubby,rabb sareya nu bheje cheti-2

yeah i had sent them a mail last month, they replied that my file is under final review, so i m waiting for my PPR, hope they issue my visa soon after they got my PP.
