@ concrete, You sure did submit way more docs than i did. I am sure you will do fine and u will here from them sooner than you think. Just never cease to pray and have faith that God does not work half way, He is a finisher of whatever He starts to do.
Cheers..

amen and amen :)

Dikz, congrats on your visa issuance, why did it take such a long time? Did you not submit enough documents.

Thanks fernendez. I would say I sent more documents during the interview than I initially did. I found the forum about 8 months after my application. The IO during the interview showed no sign of doubting our relationship though (I have been living with my wife for 3 years in my home country).

I guess it just needed to take that long but who cares now!? I hope it gets faster for everyone else!

Dikz,we all learn by the day and the end has actually justified your mean. When are you landing in Canada, the information i have gained from this thread will help my application and with God on my side, it is settled. I pray Ify comes to give us her success story today by Gods grace.

I will be landing in June. I have some contractual commitments (work) to fulfill before I can leave. Yah! Ify... I did forget that it is today am sure it will be good!

ify - how did the interview go??

Hi everyone,
I know u guyz have been waiting to hear the good news, well me too, It was the longest night since d day i sent the application to Missisauga.
Well, talked to my hubby, and he said the interview went pretty well (the VO even told him he liked his car in one of our pics;hope thats a good sign),he asked a lot of questions about our daughter and seemed pretty interested in knowing the people in the pictures of our daughter's birthday party. He also was interested in in pic with my dad and all d grand kids including our daughter at a family function during one of our visits.
Well, I could go on and on cos the interview lasted for about an hour. And then the VO said he will get back to my hubby very soon that he needed to finish d background checks.
I don't want to get annoyed or anything, will reamain positive, and pray everything works out b4 June 7 cos I already promised our daughter that her daddy will be here for her birthday.
I am dyying to hear from Palomadiego, wonder how her interview went too.

I'm sorry to hear he didn't get his visa, but it sounds like it was a positive interview, and hopefully background checks won't take too much longer. Based on your timeline, I'm not surprised they haven't finished them yet. At least you can stop worrying about the interview now, and I'm sure the PPR will be coming soon!

palomadiego - we are all waiting to hear how it went!

Ify, it is done go and put on your dancing shoes as we serve a living God. I think the background check is just to make sure there are no outstanding criminal/security issues. He will be called shortly to pic it up because the lord has already built your house.

Thanx bobshynoswife and Fern. I know its a done deal, by the grace of God.
@ Fern, I got ur message, but twas empty..
