Started processing my husband's application on May 7, 2010.
Husband's interview is July 27, 2010.
Letter informing me of the possibility of conducting an interview foe me - August 28
I am yet to hear from them.
Pls what do i do?

I went home last year Dec and I am currently pregnant.
I really need my husband here.
What do i do...i need your opinion(s)

Wao, am glad everyone is contributing to this thread as i started one before and i got few replies. Congrats to those whose spouse visa has been approved. Reading about cases concluded within 3months gives me hope as i am about to start my girls sponsorship. I landed in February and i intend to get married in May/June. I have been in a relationship for over 1yr and we are now engaged. I have pictures, and some travel tickets of when she came visiting while i was still in London. We do a lot of telephone calls to each other but i have calling cards to proof this.We also do a lot of yahoo messaging and calls which is had to print.

I think with Accra, one needs a lot of prayers as some people's cases takes a long time to process.
With God on everyone's side, it will be an easy process.

hi accra guys ify and palomadiego you guys need to have supporting documents of evidence of communication
from the day you submit till your interveiw date so make sure you go there with more
emails, chat logs, sms, phone bills, western union receipt, anything to show that you guys

This just doesn't seem right. I think I have replied to you before...have you requested your CAIPS notes? Have you contacted your MPs office?

Hey, good to see you! Glad you got your application in. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long to be reunited.

Hi everyone,
Thanks a lot Richie4u for all d tips, we don't really communicate thru email, skype or facebook, but we talk on d phone for at least 3 times a day everyday. My hubby is taking about 30pages of phone records since jan.2011 from his network in Nigeria, and 4 pages of mine from here in Canada. He is also taking just a few emails we have. That's about what we have regarding communication. The rest is d original of his birth certficate and our marriage cert. Also, he has some hand made cards that our daughter mad for him. I put all d pics we have in the initial application. I know that its not by how much stuff u have, but it about putting everything in God's hands, and i know He will finish what He has started.
@ lonelynaijawife, maybe u should try contacting them, cos i think u submitted ur application around the same period with bobyshynoswife, and her husband is here now.
@Palomadiego, I think its normal to be nervous, for me this whole thing is a do or die issue. I am even more nervous than my husband (or he is doing a good job at hiding his nervousness)
@Fernendez, maybe you should try using RAZA, I am using them right now and I get my phone statements/records as well( of course they are also cheap)
@Bobyshynoswife, I think you r awesome,ur hubby must b very lucky for havin someone like u. thanx 4 all ur help.

We also have lots of text messages. Can someone pls tell me how i can get that? or it might be too late cos his interview is on April 4th. I know I prayed for speedy approval, but giving us just 9 days to gather everything is kinda overwhelming. I didn't even get the chance 2 mail the copies of the application to my hubby, i had to speedily scan them from work on Friday.(of course i tot we were going to wait for at least 6-7months). Still, I am really happy and thankfull for my life will soon be complete.

@ify:

seems like there's a new trend with Ghana applications being processed quickly

i've VERY nervous about mine. hubby and i met and then got married 6months later. had baby 4 months after that, lol.

i sent in my app on march 18 and confirmed it was received in mississauga on the 21st

i included 199 photos in total (many from our traditional and white wedding and shots of our reception hall for the white wedding that was attended by 600+ people)

13 letters of support from priests who married us (on official letter-head), parents, friends, maid ofhonour, best man, cousins, sisters, brother and sis-in -law (who attended form canada), childhood friend who came from canada

tons of facebook images - messages, relationship status, wall posts, status posts, posted images of us and family on fb

phone records of his calls

plane stubs and tickets of my trips ot nigeria/our trips together within nigeria

among other things

hope it's all enough. he was already refused for visa (visit) for not having enough ties to nigeria

@Ify, thanks for your words. I have started using raza from my fido number. How will i get call records when the time comes. I am very sure that on the 9TH of April you will have a reason to celebrate. I have not started working, do you think that can have any effect even though we have enough money in our Nigerian account and we have a joint company and joint account in Nigeria.

As a note of advise to everyone, i will suggest you use yahoo messenger version 11 as it kkeps records of cats and calls automatically and you can print it from any computer. If you require any help, pls let me know.

@ Fernandez, u don't have to be working to sponsor ur spouse(wish i knew that earlier). You can log in to ur RAZA account on www.raza.com. your password should be your phone number, and the user name ur email address(if they have it on file). If u are unable to log on, just give them a call, and they will set you up. Please note that u can only view/print 3 months phone records, so my advise will be to log in every three months to print out ur statements and keep them. Does anyone knw how I can get my record for text messages sent?
Hope this is helpful to you.
