@RoamingSpirit You was right last night about AVO doing a lot between thursday and sundays. I just noticed the following on my Ecas:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on December 13, 2017.
2. We started processing your application on March 7, 2018.

My wife got email advising transfer to AVO on march 1. However, permanent residence application status was already saying "in process" since feb 26 or so. Am i right that AVO started dealing with the app yesterday?

I believe it really just means that AVO received it. "Dealing" with it is a strong word...lol. They have it and it is probably in a filing cabinet for now.

Are there any Ghana applicants in this forum and if so what are the timelines and resolutions of files? Do they differ from Nigeria applicants? Thank you.

Those of you that had pre arrival email earlier this week, I'm very certain you will get PPR by tomorrow Friday. That was my experience though.

I hope so too. We received pre-arrival last Friday.

@Righteous Its awful of them to be so inconsiderate but i think what they would say is that the 12 months they give is only an estimate and not a deadline. At least you know you have been approved, there are others who have gone into 14months and haven't heard anything since medical request.

I am just miffed but what can I do....

i recieved the email of the transfer on JAN 30... But no AOR2.... Just an additional line stating we started processing your application on feb 7

Thanks. Guess accra doesn't send out AOR2 or perhaps its sent when they actually start dealing with the application. Its all just too confusing

They don't send one. You just have to guess
