Very weird my bro I don’t have Accra Ghana number I don’t know if to contact minister of immigration regarding this matter, I have contacted the MPs office but those ones don’t have an answer, they are not helping me much

I can give you an email to contact. She's an Immigration lawyer. She assisted when I got no correspondence from cic. I think she charges some fee.

I have done all that my bro, I just sent them an inquiry last week no response ‘ and I sent it of again yesterday and still waiting for Accra Ghana to respond

That number sometimes take you to ottawa. Dont bother yourself to call cos they wont pick. Concerning emails, they receive numerous mails everyday and they answer those they deem essential. If you dont have patience you cant deal with immigration issues. Complex cases take a longer period. Dont worry you will definitely get there.
Dont also make an attempt to send an emissary to AVO to enquire of your application. Whoever makes that move will be embarrassed. The whole milieu of AVO is not to be trespassed. The only people you will get the chance to talk to are the security people. Your mission there may look unimportant to them. They will tell you that place is meant for Canadian citizens. Even with that, you need to book an appointment or show them your Canadian ID before you are entered in. That is why when you are asked to submit additional documents they tell you not to bring them in person. So going there will be a waste of your precious time and money. Keep cool and find something to eat cos there is brighter future ahead.

Received PPR back in nov and we sent passport that same nov
It going to be 2month in Jan 23 that they had the passport.

FBI clearance not out yet

@Johnny just come you need email the minister of immigration and tell them that they are not keeping their promise of finishing applications received prior to dec 2016 by the end of last year. Ask how it's possible that background isn't started and it's been almost 16 months.

I checked my status today and they said background check have not been started
I’ve submitted my application since September of 2016 and background check still has not been started, this is the 16 Th month, I’m soo confused and Don’t know what to do, please any suggestions from the house will be appreciated. I sent them an email inquiring why background has not been started since last week but no response from them .
