It is sad indeed @peg204! I have been speechless for a few weeks now as it's soo depressing. You are a month ahead of my timeline so I can really feel what you are feeling. Also, this week is our first wedding anniversary and we are spending it apart. We kept going back and forth with should I go and visit or not if the PPR may come within months.

I have ordered my notes twice - once in March and again in May. The only difference on them was that I requested notes!!!. I ordered them again in June as soon as the 2nd one arrived. I expect them to be delivered in mid-July. If there's no change again, I will submit the notes in my email to the Minister of immigration.

I am optimistic that we will hear something before the notes arrive in July as looking back at previous applicants from 2015 with our submission months (pages 470ish), they started getting PPRs in July and August. Maybe our visa officer is on summer holidays?:(

It is just too frustrating. We want to get on with our lives.

PS - My hubby is worried that an email may delay the process, but in mid-July what do we have to lose? It will be respectful email, just stating facts of timelines and lack of updates etc.

Honestly I feel you
I'm desperate and I will do anything
I wasn't been rude in my email or anything
Just a respectful email stating the fact that we haven't got any respond since our file was transfer and I want to know the stage my husband PR application is .
It so sad that since Sept , I'm still waiting
I feel like I need some type of answer . Good one ofcause

*** To avoid delays, please submit all requested documents at the same time ***

Thier request is clearly stated which makes it easier. They want specified additional documents so u should rally round and provide them.

What's ur timeline and when did u receive this?

it all depends what you need assistance with. if your getting borderline over time frame and medical is about to expire then yes you should call them to give them heads up to email VO to expedite the matter at least internal message is sent out to them

I don't think that matters. Ours expired in May. It's still FIFO. There is no guarantee that if we do a medical before they'll process it within that time frame, I think we've seen that to be the case lately, most people are going for another medical. You can always send a case specific enquiry just for a general check in or call them if you're concerned.

Pake, I pray you are right. I can't check my email without my heart skipping a beat. It's been two and a half years of being away from my husband. I'm so ready to start our lives again. Thinking of you all, sending positive vibes all around. <3 There are so many stories of strength and resilence in this house. I pray they all end in happiness.

A big Amen to that

I dont know if this helps anyone, i hope it gives a little hope for June 2016 applicants if I wasnt the only one left out ..lol. So I got PPR yesterday finally. I quickly sent it via DHL same day to Ghana. Does anyone know how long it takes on the average for them to issue the visa and send back? I'm to catch a flight out of town next week but this came up had to send my passport in asap. Looking to know how long to extend my original travel tickets for.

I hope and pray they start coming through for everyone waiting here as well. The wait is long and frustrating! Only those involved can understand how horrible it is.
