I honestly feel like AVO has reached their quota for spousal sponsorship for the year. :(

I know there is a quota for every canadian immigration process including parents/grand parents, but there is no quota for spousal sponsorship.

Please what's the right number to call for cic in Ghana

There is definitely a quota for it.

you can call Canada CIC 18882422100 when you call you select the prompt to know status of your app until it asks if you wish to speak to live person then you press zero..

if yo want to call ghana accra VO they communicate email however if your app turnaround time is within time frame they will not respond because they did that to me. so I called CIC in Canada to speak to someone..

Urgent reply pls.. I just got an email fromantic CIC with my UCI number and application number but I can't link my application to my online account.. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

If you go to the spreadsheets (here is the link to the April one), click the arrows at the bottom and you will get to a page for Linking CIC account. There is some advice and tips there.

I can't believe the house has being dry. June is almost over.
This is so sad !!
Order another note !!

Have made up my mind to be emailing cic in Accra everyday now coz that's what my friend said she did and her husband got his passport under 3 month and now his in Canada with her . Since they won't pick calls then have decide to be sending emails everyday if that's what it take even if they won't reply.
I'm tired of waiting. This is too much .I just need him around for lots of reasons

God, We need a miracle

It is sad indeed @peg204! I have been speechless for a few weeks now as it's soo depressing. You are a month ahead of my timeline so I can really feel what you are feeling. Also, this week is our first wedding anniversary and we are spending it apart. We kept going back and forth with should I go and visit or not if the PPR may come within months.

I have ordered my notes twice - once in March and again in May. The only difference on them was that I requested notes!!!. I ordered them again in June as soon as the 2nd one arrived. I expect them to be delivered in mid-July. If there's no change again, I will submit the notes in my email to the Minister of immigration.

I am optimistic that we will hear something before the notes arrive in July as looking back at previous applicants from 2015 with our submission months (pages 470ish), they started getting PPRs in July and August. Maybe our visa officer is on summer holidays?:(

It is just too frustrating. We want to get on with our lives.

PS - My hubby is worried that an email may delay the process, but in mid-July what do we have to lose? It will be respectful email, just stating facts of timelines and lack of updates etc.
