thanks for the response.i already sent them a mail with the attachment and also a webform too.the auto response said, they will review and respond quickly,i know the email they sent wasn't soo clear if they needed copy but just to avoid delays just incase they wanted original,i will just send both the copy and original and will inform them to return when done

Good u did. Also keep in mind a certified copy can always serve in this situation. A lawyer certified all the documents I sent it expect Medical and Police cert.

Oh yes aside from prayer we called he IRCC minister office and my love and I wrote a letter which we emailed citing legislation as to why our file should be attended to. We also mentioned statement of the previous minister from the announcement made Dec 7, 2016 and how equality applies to us ALL. I am Canadian citizen by birth but im originally from DRC and I am also a child of God. The word says faith without works is dead. I will probably never know if our letter had an impact but after sending it Monday ppr granted thursday. throughout this process we prayed sure. but we did action too. just last year Canada processed 25 000 Syrians in some few months. this journey shudnt take long. it doesnt hurt to remind AVO of ur file they too are human and the load is many. simply call or send an email. and dont call shouting. be respectful, be sure of what you saying and stick to the facts. sometimes we from Africa we need to be mindful of our emotions. the most recent example: Boatswife, sent them a friendly reminder and then within minutes recieved PPR.

Tweeny2017 any news on ur file yet? Thank u Lanky and waitingInTO for the contact information provided here.

I agree with u sister. It definitely cannot be mere coincidence as I also have evidences to prove our calls and emails have a role to play.

Hubby applied for a visiting visa for his mom and sister last year. The application ran it's full course and after the deadline elapsed with no response. He simply emailed them asking them about the status and YES they responded with PPR just the next day. Another case with a recent application too so it's real.

And like u said..we do our part and leave God with the rest...Congrats on ur PPR

Hi everyone

Do we need to do a prepaid dhl return envelope for the passports, we are sending them in Monday morning, or do we just wait for an email saying they are ready for pick up and then send the courier? Hubby is in Ghana

2ndly, I noticed alot of chat about prayer, its very true, its the only thing that has gotten me through this process. My hubby is the calm one in the marriage, and takes everything to prayer, even after the 30 days had come and gone, he was so calm, and just said keep praying, I was not calm at all, in fact I was not eating or sleeping and had not been to church for a while. Last Sunday I got up and went to church, and prayed hard, I said God please give me calmness and patience, let me leave this in your hands. The next night, I slept so peacefully for the first time in months, the next morning I shot out of bed , feeling I needed to email Avo right away, that was at 736 am , I received the ppr email at 741 am.. his response was wow wow wow and you see I told you to trust God lol... hope everyone is having a good weekend.

HI fellow member,I will be sending photocopy of my daughters birth certificate as requested by the high commission on Monday and hopefully Tuesday, they should have it.do you guys think, they will send ppr right away or they will wait for the 30days to pass since that's the only document they waiting for to make a decision.i ask this because,my med expires in April next month and am scared, they might ask for a redone.suggestions will be appreciated .thanks

Jay I really believe it will be super quick...my case was complicated...prob why they made us wait...I think you will get the ppr by wed or thurs!

Yes sir. it will be stated clearly. They would even highlight the point that need your most attention in ur passport request.

Hi Jay teamcmor is correct..they will highlight the validity date in the email...for my friends...they just gave him a date that was roughly 2 months after his meds expired

Hi Boatswife, with regards to prepaid DHL. Yes you need to tell the staff at DHL you need a pre- paid return package and they would charge you twice for that. Thank you

Thank you Sugar :) Which month did you apply for your spouse? I hope this journey does not tarry for you. Wishing you all the best. ::)

Hey guys, Haven't been very active on the forum because i find it less stressful not to focus too much on the processing of my husband's application. The whole process has just been exhausting.

Since i last posted my husband has finally received his interview date, which has been scheduled in May. Although it is 2 months away we are just grateful we are nearing the end. :) I have ordered our GCMS notes just to see if anything has been added in regards to the concerns the immigration officer may have.

Question: Is it an issue if he re-does his medical before going to the interview?
