Question please. My passport expires in September so I have less than 6 months on it. Would it pose any problem if I renew my passport now and send CIC the new and old one together when PPR comes by God's grace or do I notify them after I renew it?

Do a new one while waiting for PPR. I was in same situation too i did new passport and sent it with photocopies of old one because i needed old one to do other procedures. And all was good.

Well everyone needs to be at peace here. I feel that reality of the situation is praying and doing is what makes things possible. So we are all here to support each other.
Anyways...Congrats to all that received PPR and Visa pick up and Visa's.

I am just not that lucky as you but soon in 2 months my husband will be going for interview and it will be positive. I will pray and we will gather all documents requested and more and believe my husband will soon join me. Amen

Ninche: the majority, the intention is to maintain peace, encourage and support one another. However it doesn't help when in amidst the support another has an agenda to cause discord, discourage, put down, and spew negativity. We are in the midst of celebration, today is a good day. There is movement with positive report and yet one comes to chant that we should halt our effort. what kind of attitude is that? this place is a place of solitude as we are all passing through. we learn from one another and gain support. It hard to focus when one is consistently negative all of a sudden. this is not the first episode from this individual its not acceptable. yes we should be forgiving but we all have its limits. hence the reason for the rebuttals. its not right. we are all adults and there is no dictator here. if ppl want to express frustrations they are free. if people choose to disclose or not disclose information they are free too and shouldn't be condemned if they don't want to. of people want to call and advise IRCC they shouldn't be mocked or put down nor discouraged. if God grants us free will how much more can man. leave people live and move on. it's not your file you are hindering so why the condemnation ?

yup...today has bn the most progressive since i joined this forum..its soothing to finally feel a twitch to the lag.....stakes are very high so somtyms we get outta line.......bt pls ..lets look frwrd to better days where every1 here is smiling n happy n these lil things wnt matter..

Timosky- knowing how stressful this process is, why not encourage our fellow applicants instead of being so negative.
