It brings me great Joy that we will join our love ones soon.

Timosky- knowing how stressful this process is, why not encourage our fellow applicants instead of being so negative.

I know you just got your PPR, did you get a chance to submit your passport already?
We haven't. They requested an updated police certificate- my husband's expired in 2013. whoops.
So trying to get that done ASAP.

Congratulations to all who have received good news - especially Boatswife who has been waiting forever!.

I echo the sentiments on keeping things positive. It is quite possible that the calls this week DID light a fire under AVO's butt. They are government employees after all and the sudden attention will not go unnoticed.

Congratulations to all and let's keep the faith that the rest of us are all next to hear good news soon.

Timosky, you can't possibly tell people how to feel. Also, you can't conclude "AVO is working" just because you and a handful of other people have been fortunate enough to get to the end of this tedious journey. In this same forum, there are still people who have waited more than a year to be with their family. If people are disappointed at the pace at which Accra is working, they are entitled to those feelings. It is not fair for you to come here and keep soliciting and advocating for a visa office that is obviously operating below par compared to other visa offices. Then to go ahead and say "your protest emails have nothing to do with the ppr coming"..are you trying to make people feel foolish for doing all they can to be reunited with their families ASAP? The energy you're bringing around here is pretty negative lately. No need for passive aggression. Congrats on your PPR. Now let the rest of us be upset in peace.

Timosky, it might please you to know that a total of 7 PPRs (counting those using this medium) was issued today by Ottawa VO and guess what, it was all November 2016 applicant, so stop all this sh*t of AVO is working. Sorry you can't put our spirits down, you are any making a full of yourself. Don't make people start regretting wishing you well for your interview.

MY GOD HAS DELIVERED ME OOOOOOO! Dear Forum family I am pleased to announce that after 8 Months and 29 days we recieved PPR. No interview and no additional document requested. God has favoured my love and I. I pray that this would be a domino affect and that PPR keep raining.

FEELING FLY...JUST BECAUSE YOU GOT PPR, and then all you think is just to discourage others...that's why African is the way it is...Me ,,myself and my family..others can go and suffer..
