willy
congrats!!!

Today marks one year since I last saw my husband( yes, it's been a year). I've given birth within that one year. My husband has never held his son. Now that the baby just received his 6th month immunization, I'm thinking of taking a trip back home with the baby to go see his dad. I kind of want to stay there till my maternity leave is over in june. Will it be a problem? Will we need to return here to complete the process?

This is really sad.

it hard having a baby and you're the only one caring for him

but if thats how you're feeling then take the trip. it wont be a problem at all.

Thanks dear. What if he gets his visa while we're there. Will we have to return before they can issue it or we can stay till he gets it and possibly return with him?

You dont have to come back here before they issues it to him

you can stay there till he gets it and then come back here with him .

i wish i have that option honestly but i dont because of my job. but since i'm pregnant, and not feeling good at all, i'm hoping to take a sick leave for 2 weeks and go visit my hubby.

but you can go for as long as u want since you're still on mat leave .

Re: VISA REFUSED

It IS WELL said:
Hello all
I would like to thank you all for your contributions and advise. I got the much awaited letter from AVO today, but sadly my wife was refused visa based on the fact that our marriage was not genuine which is a blatant lie. I have instructed my lawyer to file an appeal because I know and I am sure that when the appeal is heard here in Canada we will prevail. I am here in Canada and I have a kind of idea how the law is interpreted and people are treated not all these visa officers based in Africa that see Africans as liars. Feel for us but do not pity us for one thing I know is "The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and all the embassies including their staff. God has joined us together and they AVO cannot keep us apart. Draw faith from this case and do not say sorry for we are not candidates of sorry but WINNERS. Thank you all. I promise to keep you updated.

Please order GCM notes from CIC. That will provide you with a history of the file and what led the the decision made. With your notes in hand you can on the appeal that the officer's decision was wrong based on the reasons as per the notes.

All the best.

You should go and spend time with him and come back with him when he receives his COPR. If you are a Canadian Citizen register online (https://travel.gc.ca/travelling/registration) and confirm with Embassy when you get to your Husband's Country that you have actually come to spend time with him. That can only help your application.

All the best.

Happy new year everyone. Back in Canada after a month in Ghana. Didn't want to come back. So nice to spend time with my husband after 7 months apart.

Congrats to those getting good news, and to others know that we are with you and praying for you. Let's always continue to support each other.

Our app has been in for 5 months today. I will email our lawyer in a few weeks to check mycic. Interested to see if there has been any small movement...

Hoping things speed up soon! Happy to be back in the house.
