Thanks guys. Why does AVO put us in such suspense. Lol

I wish we knew! I sooooooo hope they speed up in the new year, particularly because their 2017 quota has increased. Fingers crossed!!

Hi andy2011,
Every principal applicant needs to do a medical from a designated clinic and submit it with your application. It is valid for one year. You can do it before you submit your whole application or after you receive SA, as this is when they transfer your file and ask you if you haven't already, go do your medical and submit the documents. For AVO they don't uodate the line related to medical recieved until closer to PPR even if you submitted it months ago. Typically if you were issued PPR before your medical expired your issued visa would be valid until when your medical expires. If your application process goes beyond the expiry date of your medical or is soon approaching the expiry date you will be asked by AVO to go and do another one and submit the documents. Does that answer your question?
Hi so after submitting of pcc, additional fAmily info ,background declaration and payment of rprf in September ...this is a remedial since first one expired in 2012 but this process is after we won our appeal in June ...so what next for me after I submit remedicals

Good morning God people,
how are we all doing? Christmas fast approaching, any plan?
well here now I want ask if I can pay my RPRF or wait till AVO ask me to make payment...
Your advice please ,
thank you

I think paying it ahead of time will make your application go faster than if you have to wait for them to tell you to pay it. So if you are looking to travel to Canada faster, I will suggest you go ahead and pay it

Hi everyone so i received request for medical but on the adress section in not my current adress which is the adress on all my document. So am confused and worried.

Good day, my Good God people,
Thank God for his mercies,
finally RPRF paid and copy of receipt emailed to AVO .
God is good. all the time
though medicals not yet completed waiting to get my passport on Tuesday.
To God be the Glory

I hope this week brings some good news for those still waiting for a PPR response. And for those making their way to Canada before the end of the year, enjoy the Christmas season with your loved one!
I am happy to be joining my hubby in Ghana for the holidays, and by the time I return home our application will have been submitted for 5 months. Hopefully we'll be over the hump and PPR will come before summer. Fingers crossed!
Hope everyone is doing well! :)

Hi everyone. I am a newlywed Canadian citizen married to thr love of my life who is in Ghana.
I submitted my sponsorship application June 17,2016 and the process g began July 5,2016. I was approved as sponsor August 11. My love PR application was sent to Accra August 14. They began processing his application August 24 and we are still waiting. His PR status indicates that he has already passed his medicals and an interview is not needed at thus time. However he background check Weems to have not commenced. We are believing in God in prayer each day for a speedy response. Especially during the holidays being without your husband is more than hard. Any comments or suggestions pls. Thank you and God bless you

HI Teamcmor,
I noticed this is your first post and it looks like you are just joining us. Welcome to this forum of patience. All you can do is to wait. We all are in the same boat of waiting and there is nothing any person can do. From the average, it will take about 9-10 months to get ppr if everything is ok with your file. My sister, take heart and relax, cross your legs and occupy yourself with something else till you hear from Avo. Patience is the key

Thank you Spacempi.

Timosky too bad you don't care and you think shutting my post down is the best option for you. Anyways no offence but am about the same purpose that you're here for, and a lot of people can learn from my exprience or one another. (Being considerate and patient in life is key).

My previous post question still stand my accra ghana friends.
Thanks.

Hi there, :) yes you will need your yellow fever card. In the past year or so at the Accra airport they stop you as soon as you get off the plane and enter the airport doors to check your card. So be sure you have it ready to pull out and show them at that time, and you can from there move quickly to the immigration lines. You can also change money after immigration before exiting the airport, I do not know if they accept naira. Having Ghc, euros or USD is best I believe. Safest travels.
