For some time now, we were optimistic that the whole processing for AVO is about 9 months based on others' timeline. However, with Sep-Oct 2015 applicants still waiting, one can only continue to speculate. As you applied sometime in May 2016, I would say waiting is the only thing you can do. I believe those who applied from Sep - Dec last year will be the lucky ones to get PPR within the next few weeks/months. AVO is unpredictable when it comes to timelines.

Now we know they are officially back to work cus it seemed like AVO took a rather long break.

I will suggest u write a formal letter informing to correct the name and attach a photocopy of the birth certificate and make sure to state ur file number on it

Many thanks.. I will wait for another 2 weeks, if Ecas still show the wrong spelling I write a former letter and post it to AVO.. Luckily I'm in Ghana..

Hello all

My spouse got an email to redo his police report and medical last week and also send the family information and schedule A form and after he is done with medical that he should send his passport within 15 days
Kind of wondering. ..for those who sent their passport and additional docs by dhl i. Courier, what address did you use...we used High commission of canada immigration section p o box 1639 42 independent ave accra ghana
Please can anyone advice
