One would had thought they would had sent it to me too, but unfortunately, they didnt. I use gmail which i set up on my phone and i get my messages there, but these guys didnt send anything to me. Very strange i must say. They didnt even call or send a warning message. Im still suprised.

Yes indeed pokie very strange, but the good think is that we are now aware that they can send it to both or just to the PA

its very disturbing how they do things, over a year ago they snail mailed a request to my spouse for extra medical tests, no email or mail to me, it was sent from uk and took 6 months to recieve that letter in the mail to do those medicals, and they had given us a 30 day deadline, thankfully when I was ready to apply I noticed on the erecipt of our original medicals that nothing had gone to immigration, so he went back to iom and they informed him cic wanted addtl tests done, held us up from reapplying for 10 months, and cost an extra $1000 thank God we clued in, by the time we got the official letter, most were done or we never would have known, its crazy

I think it takes an average of 15 days; however, it must be stressed that it depends on individual instances.
For some PA it is more; others shorter.

House! i think i am getting close to getting my Visa. After PPR last week and passport already delivered since tuesday, i just got an email from AVO for Pre-departure Orientation Session.

Well I think my husband will have to move to Syria and become a refugee before they can ever let him into Canada! I have just about had enough of Accra! and to get information from them, well, you can say just forget it! No one will answer the phone and no one will reply to your emails. My application has been in process now for over 15months we have submitted all required documents! Now what? can anyone shed some light? Do I have to take a plan and start shouting inside the visa office?

I will suguest you contact your local MP office....they might be able to help

Have you been checking your junk mail? Pokies hubby's PPR was sent to him in April (albeit to an old e-mail address) and they only found out this week.

Please do not shout there, there are many solutions to this, first mandie has a good suggestion, and then you can ask for notes
