Hey,

I sent off my required additional documents and when it was meant to be delivered today. I went to track it now and it says "Attempted delivery. Notice card left indicating where item can be picked up". Do I have to call AVO or reach out to them in anyway? I am very worried at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess you used DHL.
Probably call the courier service on that.

AVO does not work on Fridays and DHL probably tried delivering today. Send them an email telling them that AVO does not work on the day they attempted delivery. They should send it any day between Monday and Thursday.

I don't know of delivery days but my documents were delivered today and signed on delivery by Mr Solomon Akoto
pls call DHL for more information

I sent it via FedEx Express. Is that an issue? I called today and they said they attempted delivery and they were unreachable. They said the address where the parcel can be picked up was left at the Visa Office .

The high commission actually specified DHL on the mail I got.
I think the high commission has an agreement with DHL......so my advise is if none was specified on your mail and FED can't deliver still, pls resend using DHL and include a cover letter stating why you sending documents twice that's if they get the previous docs.
I know you are a bit anxious and yes it's frustrating.

There were no specification in the email they sent me. I sent a box full of additional document and it cost me $349 to express ship from here. I called FedEx express and they said they have left detailed instructions at the visa office of where it can be picked up.

Good day everybody. My wife who is the principal applicant living in canada received this mail from cic canada. I guess am expecting the PPR soon. What do you think?

"This letter refers to your application for permanent residence under the Live-in Caregiver Class.
We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The Canada Immigration Centre in Vancouver will contact you concerning your permanent resident status.
[X] The overseas office in Accra will be notified to issue visas to your family members, namely xxxxx and xxxxx, to travel to Canada. Please take this letter to the Canada Immigration Centre when you are scheduled to obtain your confirmation of permanent residence document."

If you have dependants who are not minors then you need to go online in cic website then print out the consent letter. let them fill it and send send back to you. when you are ordering the gcms note you will need to pay 5dollars and you must also attach the consent letter when ordering it online if not they will return it back to you. it take average of one month.

My wife normally send me the consent letter then i fill and send back to her in canada via email before she orders it. She tried odering it without the consent letter initially but it was sent back to her mail after two weeks requesting for my consent which we never knew before that it was necessary.
Hope this helps. The whole link is there online in cic website. Goodluck
