This week must not be dull lol! AVO must do something @lamour you're overdue so I'm guessing you'll hear first
That's the word Femi. Really overdue.

My husband's medical will expire next month. That is our worry, not to have to redo it.
We sent an email to AVO about 2 weeks ago and got the automated reply as usual. Then today they replied saying.........
"Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time."
Well, well and well. Waiting continues.

I think you will hear before the end of the week for AVO to have said "no further action is required by you at this time"

Hi guys
The waiting is making me tired. My wife who I am sponsoring wrote to AVO on October the 28. They Did reply today stating that the file is still in process and they Will get back to us as soon as the complete reviewing the application. Today is a new day since the new prime minister sworn in along with the new minister of immigration. I hope they hire more immigration officers in order to process immigration application quicker.

Two more day before the week-end. Keep praying guys we are almost there.

Hello

I am new to this site.

I have sent in the application to sponsor my husband and I was approved July 6th, my file was sent to Ghana and my husband has put in his medical as it was not done with the original application, this was couriered to them and received July 20th 2015.

I have not received any communication from the visa office at all. I know its only been a little over 3 months, I just hope it will not take as long ad the web site says, 14 months is far too long to wait

It shouldn't take as long as the website stipulated however just have it at the back of your mind that it may take 9 months or more then that if additional document is required from you! Pls tell your husband to continue his work is he's working and if not he should seek employment because the wait is better managed when you're working! It's a very long and frustrating wait!

Yes you have to add the letter AVO sent to you and you also have to put your application number and your address at the back of the envelop. It will make it easier for them to trace your file

Goodevening everyone Pls i have a question.... Will AVO send me an email once they issue me visa for pickup ? Because in d mail they sent to me they said i should submit wit prepaid return envelop but dhl say they don't give prepaid envelop am kinda confused here
Yes they will send you an email to pick up your passport when they issue the visa usually within 10days.
We used Fed ex when they asked for my sons passport to be sent using prepaid. Even though they said Dhl, it doesn't have to be. We used Fed ex because it was N7k cheaper than Dhl. And we got it back with 3days. Hope this helps. Good luck :D

@myLord , pls worry not. Look at this as a blessing to have been given a chance to prove your beautiful Union. Some people don't get this chance and the VO just concludes based on what info they have. You already have such great advice from very wise people on this forum. Everything will be okay. Keep your head up and pray an agreement prayer with your spouse before you send these docs.(Very Important) If the Spirit leads you could both also fast even if it's for a little time and just commit all to God asking for renewed Favour. All will be well.
*warm hugs* :)

@ Naponga..I didn't know you are top on the Vvip list girl! C'mon what's the connect? You need to hook a sister up sharply loooool ;) ;D Neways, I'm quite happy that you would get a call like that, that's great news..In no time darling you will get a request. It gives me hope..Favour indeed is ur name ;) Just like my situation my hubby calls my son his son and my son calls him Dad because he's been in our lives for so long from when he was such a young fellow. Great men we are blessed with for sure. There is no STEP anything is our vocabulary, I tried to make that clear as best as I could and if AVO still has the need for any clarity, I'll be more than happy to provide it. I have tapped into that anointing of Favour and I use that Favouristic phone call as a point of contact to hubs and I. Bless you dear :-* More Favour and great news to come to us all soon in Jesus Mighty Name Amen! ;D

Guess what guysssssssss! Hubby got his PPR Request this morning!!!!!! Thank you father for you are merciful and indeed a favorable God! I was prepping up for work and randomly decided to check my phone. And boom! There it was! AVOOOOOO! Your permanent residence visa is ready. Bring in your passport via DHL . I couldn't finish the rest of the email due to over excitement ! Guys, we serve a great God! More great news is coming for all of you. Woot woot!!
