Hi Guys! Sorry I have been away for a while. Been moving myself over to Canada. Met up with wifey in the UK for a break before coming over. We landed 2 days ago it was by God's grace an easy process through immigration and customs. Even got my social insurance number sorted at the airport.

Still trying to settle, have a few things to sort out plus getting a charger for my laptop and phone but once I do, will be back to help people out with advice. Just waiting for my PR card.

Below are the things they requested from me, not passport yet:

- Evidence of your sponsor's visits in Dec. 2014 and the summer of 2015
- CSQ
- Copy of your driver's license, voter ID card, and any previously held passports
- Updated evidence of written communication

So my husband received a call from Accra VO today asking him if he has ever applied to Canada before. He answered yes. Then they asked why wasn't it indicated in the form?
He was denied Canada tourist visa in his old expired passport. The sponsorship form had just a visa denial of Spain indicated.
My husband rightly told them we forgot and don't remember the exact time of the application as he doesn't have the old passport anymore and also the fact that, that application was sent in by an agency.
The agent said ok, that we will hear from them.
So, we are waiting for what's next and we will take it from there.

You can quickly send an email or letter indicating clearly what you know and how you completely forgot to include it, just to be on the safe side....Just my one cent advice....God bless you...

I don't think this is a big deal. It was an honest mistake plus it was only a tourist visa anyway. The good news is that this means they started to look at your application.

This month will not passby without accra requesting for ur passport. You've been very so helpful.
@ mercyofGod, ur case is settled. Ur visa is this month which i strongly believed. You are extra helpful. And to all December and January applicants expect good news from accra this very month. Next week is the 3rd week and i belive before 1st week of September visa will be given to alot of applicant. Remain blessed.

First l am happy because they are looking into your application and above all l am happy because your husband gave honest answer and that settle everything, they just wanna know maybe he forgot to indicate that or he will deny it, l know the mercy of God is upon you and the good news will come soon in Jesus name.
