Dear Curious

Thank you for your reply! Yes we are going through Accra... I saw from a few posts that some pr were processed in just a few months! I am keeping my fingers crossed.... How long did it take for Accra to acknowledge receipt of ur application? And after how many months did you get called in for an interview?

Well...my husband had his interview today!!! and was told that there is no doubt in the immigration officer's mind! So we basically have our approval. Our whole application was given back to my husband.

Unfortunately, there has been an issue on their side (not ours) regarding the medical centre in Paris and thus were not able to issue the visa the same day but it will come soon enough I am certain. The immigration officer just needs to do a check over once the medical info comes in and we'll be done! I am thinking that it has to do with the initial mess-up by the doctor in Accra but who knows. They know that the medical was done so that isn't the problem.

On another note, my husband was asked basically the same kind of questions mentioned previously. He had a female officer who was very kind and considerate - I'm so thankful for that. I've been praying for the officer as well this whole time.

God is good all the time! AMEN!

Congratulations Jeremiah 29....God is faithful and he will definitely complete what He has already began!

My wife was in Accra today for her interview . she was asked the following
Four Questions
1) describe how you met ur husband
2) when are u gonna leave for Canada if ur visa is issued
3) What are your future plans
4) tell me about ur husbands family

Then the officer said am convinced ur case is genuine, ur medical is ok and all fees has been paid BUT........ ( at the mention of BUT, my wife said she almost fainted.... :o :o :o BUT what again my wife said within herself??) the officer finished thus: BUT you will have to come back by 2pm to pick up ur visa.. She laughed and jumped and the officer asked if she was happy....

Applied cic: January 29 2013
Approval: February 22 2013
CSQ application received by MICC: February 26 2013
CSQ PPROVAL: March
Interview & Visa: May 7th 2013

You don't need a visa since you will not be crossing through customes.

Please let me know how the flight and landing process goes on...my husband will be using the same airline and landing in Montreal!

All the best ;D
it was 821 dollars to Montreal, and 130 dollars with air Canada to Toronto !!!! you should hurry to buy your flight because after 24th is almost between 1200-1400 afterward

Thanks for the advice!

Safe journey.

Hello all,

Finally, we got it! The DHL delivered to my spouse yesterday the much awaited package with the passports with visa, immigration documents to be presented on landing and most of the documentations, including photos we submitted for the processing. The wait is now over!

I thank everyone that contributed to my questions and inquiries, you all gave good advice and lead. I wish those of you that are still waiting to receive positive responses too, either from the Accra visa office or elsewhere, where your applications are being processed.

Congratulations Curious! I wish you and your spouse a life full of happiness in Canada! Where will you be staying?

That's great Curious! We will be in Montreal! Thank you for sharing your story it is very encouraging!
