Hello Jeremiah29-11,congratulations!!!.... I'm so happy for you .pls may I know what location you sent out your application from?, i applied in march,submitted my application from Vancouver,I really wanna know if we applied from same location... I hope I get call soon.hope to hear from you.thanx

Mine came from within Ontario, an hour from Toronto - so not far. It arrived the very next day after I sent it (despite the massive snowstorm that hit that very same day ) It was sent on the 7th of February and arrived on the 8th. It went to the Mississauga office.
Have you heard about your sponsor approval status? Has your application been sent to Accra already? It was only just 2 months once it arrived in Accra, so if your case is very clear cut with LOTS and I mean LOTS of evidence (photos, letters from friends, people of authority who know your relationship, phone bills, emails, etc) then I am sure you will hear something very soon.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone get AORs from Accra. You just have to wait for them to call you for either an interview or for your visa. Hope that helps

My wife recently just got called for an interview for july,wohooooooooooooo!...i know God will bless me with my PR same day.when you did your interview,how many pple interviewed you? The AOR is for the sponsorship approval; some people do get and others don't. But it is more common for the sponsorship approval stage.

Best day ever!!!

Went with my husband to the Canadian Embassy and picked up his visa!!
Our flight is booked as well to come back at the end of the summer! Sooooo so happy!

My husband was only interviewed by one women. We saw her briefly today when we picked up our visa so I saw what she looked like. He said she was very kind and very helpful. She had a French name.

Just remind your wife that there is nothing to be nervous about. Just tell your relationship story as it is and as you documented it - when you are telling the truth there is no way to mess up because your emotions come forth and they see this.

hello everyone,
my Husband just had his interview and was told they will get back to him. we submitted lots of evidence and new pictures (over 200) and the interviewer said she has concerns that we did not do a traditional wedding. he said the lady was nice though and actually told my husband she was sorry that we did not provide that... she has 3 concerns.. 1.. my father has not met him, 2. no crowds at our wedding and 3. my husband has not travelled to my country to see my people.. she took everything he had and only gave him back out skype conversations back up (i think coz we gave most of these when we applied)

PLEASE has anyone had to wait for decision after interview?? how long do we have to wait .. thank you everyone..

Guys,please i need as many help as i can get on this forum.i received a letter from the immigration saying i have 30days to proof my marriage is genuine.i did my engagement ceremony in absentia after the sponsorship application has been sent.Definately i didnt send the pictures along with my application as that wasn't included.i dont know if i can send them now.please i need advice on what to do ASAP.thank you

I got the same email on april and members of tis forum told me to send every evidence i ave gathered after i sent in da application. I did so as they tell me and yesterday i got email tellin me dat they ave recieved ma app and is in a qeue for review. So pls print every proof u ave and send to them. U can also let frds and family members write letter to endorse ur marriage.
