Hello Members, i am pls encouraging everyone to start writing what he or she wants to put in the letter and all you have to do is continue what i have drafted so everyone can have their turn to add some words.

Hi All,

I am glad to see that the letter is being written. I would lilke to contribute to this and support it however, my experience was very different.

How can I help?

It's not the same for everyone, so I don't know what it means in your brother's case.

For my husband, it went from in process, then they requested his passport (letter cam through email) and straight to decision made, with no interview.

Pray you get the same result.

@Chenny, in process with an additional line saying" we starting processing your application on xxxxxxx date" means they have started looking at your file but in process with no extra line for when they started processing is the same as application recieved.

I know you have a short processing time but i guess you still remember the pain of checking ecas everyday and always praying to hear from accra so in this case you can add something from those experience. If you want to see the improve copy pls inbox Fernendez perhaps you will also have something to say. How are you preparing for your husband's landing?

I am open to any advice you have to offer! What kind of reaction should I anticipate?
I am now trying to organize everything before he arrives...making space in my closests! Fortunately he will be here during the summer and won't be needing warm clothing...maybe a light jacket for the cool august evenings.

Thank you for asking.

I am waiting to hear your good news. Have you sent for your GCMS notes? How is your wife handling the waiting?

Nice to hear your preparation for your husband's arrival. As for the GMCS, i made a mistake on the consent form so they sent it backing asking me to correct it which i did. Hopefully i will get it this week or next week. As for the waiting we decided not to worried too much about the accra office so we just setup our own business so the more they waste our time the more we will try to expand it to the next level.

This is goes out to all of us....Enjoy 8)

That's the right attitude ;)

My wife got her visa on monday and I thought I should post on this thread.

Our timeline is:

Filed: 20 August 2012
AOR: 27 September 2012
File Transfer: 5 October 2012
Medical Request: 12 January 2013
Interview: Waived
Passport Request: 14 March 2013
Visa Received: 18 March 2013

Total time: 7 months.

The wait has not been easy and I am glad it is finally over, and goodluck to all those still in the process.

By the way, I can see my fellow provincial nominee from 2011 @ egrace62 on the thread.

Bros, I see you have also gone home to do the right thing (get married) and in the process of bringing your wife over.

I hail o!
