Yes i was saying this cos i wasn't happy with the way people are being treated with this office. Those doing the fake thingd get through the system very easily and those being genuine are always the victims of the visa office in Accra. I mean which data base they use to check criminal background check in under developed countries?

Sent to the above address first. As a Nigeria, shouldn't I send my application straight to the accra office, considering the fact that my husband is my sponsor and we both leave in Lagos?

@ ejay4real247 welcome on board, if ur sponsor is in Canada, he shld make the payment, better still you can also make payment online using ur credit card, and ur application must be sent 2 Mississauga first, after which it would be sent to ur VO, which is Accra

Yes, you definitely send the application to Mississauga first. They will approve the sponsor there, then send everything to Accra. Is your husband a Canadian citizen or a PR? If he is a PR, he has to go back to Canada and stay there to sponsor you. If he is a Canadian citizen, he can sponsor you while living in Nigeria.

Thanks for your responses. @ canadianwoman, yes my husband is a canadian citizen..... So just to be clear, after making sure my application is complete and I have all the necessary documents, I then send everything to mississauga by DHL right? then they inturn sends it to Accra. So I don't send anything to accra right? Thanks once again for ur response.

my husband and I are still waiting for them to send us request for his passport. MP said they r still doing basic background check, god knows what that means my daughter is growing and changing so much and my husband is not seeing any of it.

Please urgent help oooooooo... I'm filling out my application and a bit confused on who and who is meant to be under the family member... Is it my immediate family (sisters and brothers)? Or ..... Please help a sister here. Thanks..... And also is it ok to remove the dependants form as it is not applicable to me??? Or do I just write NA (not applicable) in each space?

"Family member" just means your spouse or common-law partner and any dependent children - for most of the forms. For the form called "Additional Family Information IMM 5406" they want you to list your parents, spouse/partner, children, and all siblings including step-siblings and half-siblings.
