This is the year of our supernatural turnaround... IJN

January we are here...let see what AVO have for us ..

Hello God people,
Good morning to you all and Happy New Year too. Hope we all enjoyed our break and holiday??
The wait has began again and don't forget tomorrow Tuesday 3rd, 2017 is the first working day everywhere in the world...

I contacted AVO and on Friday 30,2016 I got a reply from them that my file is in queue for review.

I wonder why the queue since 23/11/2016 that they ask me to redo medical and that the file will be open in 30 days which was 23/12/2016. So why still in queue?

Well let's all brace ourselves up for the waiting challenge and don't forget to always pray ooo.

God bless us all,
Happy New Year...!

Wow it's surprising to find out AVO finally reply to people's email. I emailed them long ago about the status of my application and they have never responded to Me

@Timosky, you can contact them by email nd case specific enquiry.

@ Spacepmi, yes they dont normally replied to emails only if the application time has lapse or they needed some documents from you.
God bless...

Lol glad to see who there application is transferred same time as mine, mine is transfered on 16 of September and in process on 29th of September.. So your next month 5months on AVO is same as mine..let see if they will answer any of us so that the other will get hope.

Guys I just want to let all of you know that my husband finally got his email this morning to say he should submit his visa for issue (January 3rd) what a day to start off the New Year. He can finally join the kids and I. Just to let you know my timeline:

Application Received June 22, 2016
Application forwarded to Acca: August 24, 2016
Request for evidence of emails and Text (30 day deadline) November 18
Sent all documents to Accra on December 12th, 2016
January 3, 2016: Email saying visa is ready for issue

It has roughly only taken less than 5 months. For those that know me, it took me 8 years to get my Permanent Residence and my husband now only 5 months. God has been merciful. Good luck to all you guys. Please do not despair - it will happen for you!

Cheers from a Zimbabwean married to a Nigerian

Thank you so much for sharing your testimony. Your timeline Is similar to mine. I believe my luv and I are next. we have had no issues or request for any additional information. the next time you would hear from me would be to read our testimony. I believe.

Hi Uchemama,
Congrats for your husband and everyone who has recently received ppr. I don't know why AVO is sleeping on my wife's case. She is an April applicant and AVO started processing the application in June 2016. I have emailed AVO and they are not responding. Just requested the gcms notes and hopefully I will be able to figure out what is happening. Please pray for me.

Spacepmi, AVO will not reply you as far as your application has not exceeded the processing time. The only way you can know something is in your gcms notes, it contains all the information and what the reason might be, so that you can be preparing yourself how to defend the reason before if they may ask. So go for it. But I don't think there might be anything so bad, sometimes may just cross checking information is delayed by the state agencies involved or there might be a little doubt somewhere they need tired to clarify. Stay strong and keep on praying and be gathering more proves down in case the request, more after application meetings or communication with your spouse and pictures. I pray you hear from them soon because this whole thing is too frustrating. I know how you are feeling. Stay strong cheers!!
