Does it mean that CIC don't go December holiday?

December is not a holiday for anyone, only the normal holiday every Canadian will get is what they also, so there is nothing like break for them.

Ok, CIC is moving with speed of light and I'm loving it.

It has taken 17 days from receiving of application to file transfer to AVO.

I sent application 23rd of November, they receive it 25th of November, last week (6th of December) got AOR and today SA approval.

Finally the long awaited PICK-UP MAIL and VISA-CORPS is at hand!!!
At last our kidnap, hijack, Captured, Seized PASSPORTS are finally released to us. LOL.....
Pick up mail landed on the 30 Nov. Parcel delivered this evening. Passport stayed with AVO for about 29weeks, that is 6months, 3weeks and 3days.

Thanks to God and my efamily and forum mate on the waiting list for all their support and prayers during these waiting time. May the rain of updates (MR,PPR,PICKUP mail) continue to flow from AVO to this family. To everyone waiting we will rejoice with you tomorrow in Jesus name.

I cannot stop without taking this opportunity say a BIG thank you to this house for all your love appreciate the amazing support and wonderful contributions of everyone on this platform. Your generosity is very much appreciated, with the information and help available on this forum, the use of a consultant would have been totally unnecessary for me if I had found out about the forum earlier before PPR. To everyone awaiting positive updates from AVO, it will soon be your turn to celebrate IJMN, Amen. It will surely end in praise!!!
I will find time to write all that has happened during waiting period. MERRY CHRISMAS in advance.

Has to clear all backlog by Dec. 2017. Changes to application (new system) starts in 2 days.

I need help my fellow forumers. I'm in a hot sit right now. AVO emailed me this morning saying i may not be eligible for ppr because they dont think my identity is real and they don't think my relationship is genuine. They gave me 30 days to submit proof of my real identity and also proof that my relationship is genuine..

My worry is this, I submitted my neco original certificate, photocopy of affidavit of my birth certificate and a copy of my passport data page with my initial application.

Secondly, my partner just left Nigeria back to Canada. She came to visit me for one month. While she was here, she snapped pictures with my family.

I applied for common law. I was married before in Uk and my divorce was still on going when i apllied and they didn't mention anything about my divorce although I submitted a copy of my divorce application when I applied...

Pls my forumers, I'm confused now, I don't know what to do now.. Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hi willyblue, i'm so sorry to hear that this is happening. I believe that there are threads on this forum that may assist you as others may have had similar experiences. I'm sorry I am unable to provide you with any more help other than suggesting you seek legal advice.

Maybe others in our house can help?

sorry to hear your worries but its very simple, the mail a regular mail so don't work yourself up, go check your private message I have sent you some directions and besides affidavit ll not help bcos CIC ll not accept that. don't forget anybody can swear affidavits so just follow d instructions and direction you ll find it easy and simple to put all documents together, all you need is check ur generic form imm008 and schedule A background there you ll find answers to what u need and if you don't find it reply and I ll go through it with you step by step.
