I applied last year october. i was still single back then and i got married in december, 2015. then i added my wife to the application in feb. 2016. then we had 2 months of silence till may 27 when they sent this request and also requested for her medical examination.

Use this opportunity to correct the error. Also add a letter to explain your situation. When did you apply? Congrats, you are close to PPR.

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTATION WILL BE REQUIRED TO ISSUE YOUR VISA:
LØ A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature. Make sure you answer truthfully to all questions. Amended Schedule A. Indicate your past history since you reached the age of 18 (despite what the form states). Specify what kind of work(s) you are doing and have been doing since then. Do not use acronyms. Make sure you do not leave any gap in time. Indicate all addresses in Nigeria and other countries (if applicable) since you reached the age of 18. Make sure you do not leave any gap in time. You must declare if you have been refused any visa or immigration applications in the past from any country. Failure to comply may result in a refusal of your application.

It is usually not a requirement but I can see why they are asking you. Your medical expires in August, so they want to make sure you can travel before Aug 18. Looks like dates for travel (travel itinerary) is going to be a new requirement for those whose medical are about to expire, ultimately, putting a stop to remedical. Congratulations once again.

Congratulations my dear, we also received an Email from AVO today requesting that my wife and son send in their passport within 15 days from today Via DHL. I wish everyone here urgent good news.

Hi all, VO called my hubby yesterday asking him if he would be able to travel before the 18th, he said yes. 2hrs later we got and email( They also sent me this time around)stating that his passport is ready for pickup. He has paid DHl to go pick it up and he is leaving Nigeria mid next week. Thank you all for your advices and answers. Our God is a faithful God. As he did it for us, he will surely do it for everyone here. God bless you all.

cant I send it from canada to accra using dhl as its easier gor me to do most of the printing?

Yes, you (sponsor) can send the requested docs. Make sure you include the application information - spousal sponsorship is a collaborative effort.

Abeg....Am i the only one who applied in August still waiting for CIC Accra to respond?

I applied for my spouse August 19 2015, In process October 26 2015 and our medical expired June 02 2016 and have not heard a single word from these guys

I have seen people in sept getting PPR so am a little bit worried, sent them the first email in the month of May and didn't hear from them and Tried sending them another email today and i was told that the email is full.

I have checked my email and my spouse email and there is nothing, had to check if we made a mistake in the email

just a worried. and congregations to those who got their PPR and safe trip to Canada, Enjoy the hot weather - Plus 31 degrees now before it gets cold to minus 40 degrees.

It doesn't hurt to shoot CIC a case specific about 'alerting' them your medical had expired and if you need a re-medical.
