Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, but I wasn't on here during the holidays.
The visa officer gave you 60 days to reply, right? So just sending in all the documents you listetd above, plus an explanation, should be OK. I think if the visa officer also wanted new forms, he/she will ask for them.

After a successful hearing, my husbands PR started reprocessing September 17. Since then we have basically been asked to update the file by redoing the application form (because it had changed since we started this ordeal in May 2009), and redoing CRCs. The requested information was received by the office early November.

We have not heard anything since. Is there anyone out there with a similar timeline or experience?

This is a very sleepy thread!

Hello Everybody,

First off, my wife and I would like to thank all of you who post questions and answers to this forum. In addition to providing helpful information, you've also established a virtual community of supporters and sympathizers.

Following submission of our PR application, we initially visited this site in search of answers about the CIC process nuances and details; you know...clarifications on what various ECAS update messages actually mean, information on typical time spans between milestones, hints on what type of interview questions to expect...that sort of thing. After falling into the habit of checking the forum almost daily, we came to realize that we were actually using the forum as a pseudo support group. Long story short, it has been extremely helpful, so we decided to sign up and share what information we can with other ECOWAS hopefuls.

For all of you patiently waiting for the Accra office to get back to work in 2013, take heart! They are back on the job...

I am a Canadian Citizen, my wife is a Ghana national and, as such, we submitted our PR application to the Accra office for processing. Our timeline was as follows:

Category........: FAM - Spouse
Visa Office......: Accra
App. Filed.......: 13-07-2012
AOR Received.: 13-07-2012
Med's Done....: 27-06-2012
Police Check...: 21-06-2012
SponsorApproved: 20-10-2012
File Transfer...: 20-10-2012
Meds Received: 20-10-2012
Accra Processing Begin: 03-01-2013
VISA ISSUED..: 07-01-2013 (no interview required)

I should disclose that our application was virtually bullet-proof, as we included every piece of documentation they asked for...and then some...

So please, keep your faith. He IS listening....

That was a really exciting post! I read this to my husband and I started shouting excitedly as I read it!! This gave us the extra hope we needed for the next little bit of waiting. We look to this forum as our support line too, just knowing that people are having success and families are being brought together so soon. Thank you for sharing your timeline and story!!

my ecas has changed into in process for the first time since my wife attended an interview in visa office outside Canada on November 28th 2012. They said they started processing on January 10th 2013. Could someone tell me the meaning of that and how long would it take to hear from them again. Thanks in advance.....

I understand your need to know your next steps. I do hope this works out in your favour.

I was approved as a sponsor on Nov 8th 2012 and the file was transferred to Accra at that time, since then I am patiently waiting. I pray for a speedy and successful result. There does seem to be a lot of good news coming from Accra :)

Stay positive
