I am very sad to read this @mylord,
I imagine how you and your spouse feels right now. Please do not be in despair. They can delay but your reunion cannot be denied eventually.

The appeal is in Canada. Personally, I will say get an immigration lawyer involved. Meanwhile, have you ordered the gcms notes? It's very practical to order the notes to see what was written on your file. You will better understand the underlying reason for the refusal and therefore know how to approach the appeal.

There is also an appeal thread on this forum. Ask others about their experiences and their success cases will also be of help.

Wishing you courage and wisdom as you pursue this stage of your application.

Thanks, please what are the procedure to order the Gcms notes

Benestel and whitelion you haven't hear nothing from Avo at all??? Wow the waiting is draining for real..hopefully we all will hear something before the Christmas...

Greetings to everyone
I have been following this thread (as a non-Registered member) for few months now and I am glad I found this thread. Thank you all for sharing your wealth of knowledge and experiences with us all. The HELP/ADVICE you give on this thread on daily basis is helping my wife and I to better manage our stress and frustrations level. Truly, the waiting time (with no updates from AVO) is very tiring, frustrating and draining. I am glad to be part of this family of incredible people. We are getting gradually.

Yes, you are correct. Coming on here helps a lot. Knowing that there are others out there that understands the feeling of this excruciating wait helps me take each day as it comes and one day at a time.

Do you want to share your timeline with us please?

You will get PPR in no time. From experiences on here, once AVO request to have Medicals done again, PPR shouldn't be far off. It takes about 1-2 weeks from when the Medicals was done to when AVO actually update file with the info. For example ours was initially done December 9th 2014 but when we received the gcms notes, it shows AVO received it 15th December.

When was your initia Medicals done please?

I totally agree. I don't understand what's going on in their office. Are they short of staff or something??? Isn't it the same office last year....
Please tell you wife to be strong. It's very difficult of course to be separated. Let her know there are a number of us waiting too and we will all get to the finish line soon.
Big hugs to you both.

Welcome on board glow2shine,
@Lamour is right and i want to also congratulate you as you have almost reached the finish line of this whole process with Remedical. Your finish line will be your PPR which is not fat off as Lamour rightly stated. Be strong and encouraged.

@Lamour Initial Medical was done in Nov 2014.

Hello Everyone,
I do need your assistance on my wife application. I have submitted all the paperwork. We have submitted the medical, paid for permanent resident application, and CIC have received. Our application is status still in process. Can somebody help me how long it will take to hear back from CIC in Ghana? What is next thing we should be expecting from CIC? Do my wife needs police clearance. These is my status:
We received application for permanent residence on April 8, 2015.
We started processing application on June 18, 2015
Medical results have been received.
Please help. I need your input.

Hello Adejumo
Welcome to the thread, AVO is so unpredictable at this time,no one knows for a fact what is going on there. However while you are waiting for their next action, just order your GCMS note to give you a clearer picture of what is going on and where they are with your file.
As for the police clearance certificate, everyone above age 18 must provide one and you were suppose to include it with the application when you filed it. If not they will ask for it subsequently before the final process and remember that these document expires.
The last month we saw on this thread for PPR was January 2015 applicant, but up to June 2015 in other threads.
Very soon we will see the end of this wait.Surely it must have an end...
I hope this helps.... God bless you.

Thank you @Lamour, thank you @Crucial.
@Crucial, you are right, the initial medical was done November 4, 2014.
I pray for divine favour upon our applications so that the good News we’ve all been waiting for shall be delivered into our email boxes in days to come. It’s about time to be re-united with our spouses, the separation is unbearable sometimes.
