Ardnacieso said:Hello to everyone... Can someone tell me how much is the right of permanent fee cost and how to pay it?? Should I do it online?
Yes online is the fastest way to pay it and it costs $490. The other option would be to pay at a Bank but to do so you would have to request an original receipt sent to you by mail from CIC and that takes about 2 weeks to get. Once you get that receipt, you would take it to the bank, pay and then send the original copy to CIC. Whatever method you decide to go with,I also suggest using the case inquiry to update AVO once the payment has been made to avoid unnecessary delays as they have been known to take their time before requesting for the RPRF. Good Luck
I have learnt the hard way that when dealing with immigration matters its best to be as proactive as possible. Medicals may be the only exception to that. So it's better to pay the balance if it's available than waiting for them to request it cos that may just be what's holding it up.whitelion said:Hello guys
One more day before the end on this week. I hope we get good News on this thread by tomorrow.

No worries about the financial history. As long as she was in no way receiving government financial assistance, all is on track. Put in your application asap with enough information. Atleast the sponsor part of the application will be on its way.willyblue said:Quick information please....I and my spouse are currently in UK but i intend going to Nigeria soon to put in my application...My wife is Canadian citizen and i'm from Nigeria..My spouse intends going back to Canada once i go to Nigeria to put in my application... Concerning my Sponsor financial Status,Will CIC check her financial history in UK since She has been leaving in Uk for 2years or It is her financial history in Canada they will check?
. Lamour, please this is for you do know if bad credit or a default on a student loan does have negative effect on an application .lamour said:No worries about the financial history. I don't think so. For other provinces except Quebec, it is required to submit notice of assessment. Notice of assessment usually has no connection with general credit and student loan.Ikecanada said:.
