@Lamour. Medical was done in Aug last year. I actually did an upfront medical. I read somewhere on cic website that vo may extend an applicant's medical???.I already sent them an email if I should go for another medical but I am yet to read back from them.
I have a situation here . I have been looking for the original of my birth cert . I remember I made copies from the original 5yrs ago when I applied for a UK visa . it was one of the copies of the birth cert I included in the application I sent to cic. Now, I need the original. I could apply for another one from the population commission office but ofcourse it wont be the same with the copy cic already have. I really dont know what to do in the event that I am not able to locate the original birth cert. I have change accommodation twice in the last 2years and I must have misplaced it while moving..I really cannot tell.

Doveheart, I will suggest you hold to hear from Accra as regards your Medicals since they know it will expire soon. Should they want you to have another done, they will let you know I suppose.doveheart said:
As regards the birth certificate, if every effort to find it has been exhausted, you might want to use the photocopy to swear an affidavit then could go ahead with applying for a new one. Should CIC ask for the original, just attach the affidavit to the photocopy and then the new original one with a letter personal letter explaining the whereabouts of the original birth certificate.
Hopefully someone with similar experience can chip in.

I just can't believe some of us are heading toward the 8th month and still haven't heard anything from Accra. Most average wait time last year was 7 months. I wonder why such slow down. It beginning to get a little frustrating. Hope we hear good news soon.
I believe they are not slow, they are really working hard on those applications, I believe they have whole lots of application on their table, family category, FSW, etc and you imagine how many countries that need to walk through Ghana VO, l believe they increased their processing months to 16 months just for them to have enough time to clear their table, we should just hang in there even though the waiting is killing but with God all things are possible and we shall have success at the end of it all.florisak said:
