Please I would like to know when you said Accra are on November application, are you talking about application filled in November or application transferred in November...because to my knowledge, once you passed the first stage of approval, you have nothing to do with cic in Canada, the VO takes over from second stage, and if l can view things from here like MEKUS the application was transfer in January and that means they are on file transferred in January...if this is not true, you can shed more lights, thank you.

Hello,

I mean applications filed in November. It seems from experience that they process the applications based on the Application Received date or the lock in date. In Mekus's case it was November 3rd, I was September 10th.

Looking back at Opester, gamer, Dlio etc, then myself, Gonja got a response then (October applicant), and now Mekus. So it seems that my "therory" is correct.

You applied Dec 2? so you're next and Lamour is right behind you.

I don't think you'll wait a month, 2 or 3 weeks and you'll hear something since Accra is faster now.

Hello Ghanaboy, enjoy the good weather finally..

Lamour they're already on November (Mekus is Nov) and they're moving faster. From Oct to Feb, they didn't receive a lot of applications because mississauga was slow in processing SA. So you only have 1.5 months (max 2)

Thanks Moh. 2 months from now will be a miracle for us. Very very happy to see the speed of Accra lately. I'm excited. Meanwhile, June is going to be a busy month for me. Time will pass by faster.

Hello! I was wondering what happened to you? you got decision made?

Well to all the members, actually I never heard back from Accra after I sent in the passport. It's funny but I was tracking the DHL package since I had included a prepaid return envelope. Once I realized the return envelope left the embassy I asked my wife to go and pick it up. She picked it up and she got the visa. But I never heard from Accra to go and pick it up.

So I got my PPR and about 2 weeks later, I tracked the package and went to pick up. I got decision made on April 21 and picked up the package 2 or 3 days later.

Yes..It has been a funny situation though..it is really a long story. Anyway I just got decision made since that time and yet there was no interview or request for additional document..really a long story though. It was due to an error on the part of the visa office in Accra. Anyway it is over now, thank God.

Yes you have to fill it out. I was in the same situation. My son is Canadian and there was no changes but you must fill it out and also attach a note saying that nothing has changed. Fill out what's applicable but make sure to write the note. Also, send a copy of the PPR email and fill in the bottom section where they ask about height etc. Add the pictures and you're golden my friend.

Expect the passport in 1-2 weeks

Hey MoH, please bear with me. I have another question just to be sure. The IMM0008 is the Additional Dependent/Declaration and not the Generic Application form for Canada. Both are listed as IMM0008 on CIC website. Additional Dependent form will have to be filled for each child. Please confirm....Thank you so much for your time.

Oh no those are dependents of your wife, not the Canadian kids. They want to know if anyone else is accompanying her (non Canadians).

So you will fill that form on behalf of your wife and say no one else is new and no one else is coming with her as was originally planned.

Your Canadian kids don't count.

Ok. I am a little confused. Which forms does she fill out......Additional dependents or Generic form?

IM08, additional dependents. And she has no new ones. So all good. right?

And those are for Dependents that are coming with her to Canada. Not the Canadian kids.
